Where on Earth are you going with this...? You started this saying that the Federation would attack first... I said they wouldn't due to their Prime Directive. You went on some tangent about controlling bodies... Starfleet is it's own controlling body... only thing above it is the UFP, because Starfleet is a member of the UFP... UFP is to the Starfleet what the USA is to its armed forces...

I would like you to provide proof of this if you dare try to pass that crap on me... no WAY a lieutennant is a "low rank" like a random stormtrooper... that makes no sense.

Exactly. But the way Centerpoint's weapon works (gravity wells) renders it completely useless! You forget - warp fields largely negate the effects of gravity!

I am NOT shelling out money to buy a damned book... especially when finances are as tight as they are.

It is up to YOU to provide proof - post the excerpt from the book!

Uhm, no, they do not have "temporal shielding"... that's an outright lie. They have jumped to hyperspace with no shields at all (like when the Falcons shield generator was sabotaged...)

    Hyperspace is NOT time travel.

No, but the Intrepid class could with a single torpedo...

Wouldn't be one second, but it isn't bad for a 120 meter (or so) long scout ship

The Senate will never allow the Grand Army of the Republic strike first, neither will the Jedi. The Senate can order the Grand Army of the Republic. And you don't want the Jedi Order bring you trouble for starting a war.

The Stormtrooper Crops is an " elite " force in the Imperial Armed Forces. There is stormtroopers the rank of lieutennant GENERAL in the Stormtrooper Crops. Almost all the TIE Pilots are annoymous, execpt Baron Fel and Phennir ( and Han Solo as a smuggler ).

I doubt the Federation ships and planets have warp fields around them 24/7. And plus there is still the Sun Crusher and Galaxy Gun to take care of.

HoloNet News is perfectly liciened. It is as same degree of canon as EU which is C-canon, it is liciened by Lucasfilm.

Star Trek V: the Final Frontier.

Spock's crazy half brother hijacked the enterprise and took it past the great barrier into the center of the galaxy, they met god. (well alien pretending to be god), Kirk asked him what he needed with a star ship.

theres actually an episode of the animated series where they do the same thing, but they meet the devil.

    What is a hole?

It's thousands of lightyears across. Other wise you could just slip pass it at sublight and go whee ever you want. If it's just a hundred lightyears you're looking and thousands of years at sublight.

    1. If moving the station beyond the barrier was an option they'd move ships. I think the barrier is too big.

2.Firing it through vector prime would give about one target vector. Thats why it's called vector prime. Odds are it's not aimed at the Milky way.

3 Star Forge was destroyed long ago.

    No problem.
    Happens to all of us.

I don't counter who he says is the chosen one.
I counter the statement that Anakin had more power than his son. That's wrong. Lucas said they had the same Mitachlorian count at birth.

you probably don't want to get into an ancient races war...

[QUOTE-memory alpha] were an ancient and highly advanced civilization that was destroyed some 200,000 years ago by the orbital bombardment of their homeworld, Iconia. Ancient texts called the Iconians "Demons of Air and Darkness", who were said to have the ability to appear at will on far-flung planets without the use of starships. Later this was found to be a reference to the Iconians' gateway technology, whose instant teleportation allowed them to establish outposts at least as far as Vandros IV in the Gamma Quadrant. Until the discovery of Iconia in 2365, the Iconians were still dismissed by many as nothing more than myth.
Iconia, former homeworld of the Iconians.
Iconia, former homeworld of the Iconians.

Historically the Iconians were generally described as a race of conquerors, though recently some scholars dispute this claim as a distortion perpetuated by species who feared and demonized their advanced technology, and eventually destroyed them. It has been speculated that not all of the Iconians perished in the attacks, but rather used their gateways to escape to other worlds. Indeed, the similarity between the Iconian language and the later languages of Dewan, Dinasian, and Iccobar has been cited as evidence of this theory. (TNG: "Contagion", DS9: "To the Death")

In 2377, Tom Paris told Harry Kim he received a call from an "Iconian scientist" who said he had a trans-dimensional gateway that could take USS Voyager anywhere in the galaxy. In reality, Paris was just saying this to prove to Torres how gullible Kim was. (VOY: "Inside Man") [/QUOTE]

there are others... but i don't want to look for them

So what? The Imperials have no problem striking first...

What ERA of Star Wars are you fighting with? I've been going with the "present" trek...

Yes, ALL ships in Trek have a warp field 24/7 - they do that because it reduces apparent mass, making maneuvering much easier and swifter - what turns faster. A 700 meter ship weighing 45 billion tonnes, or a 700 meter ship weighing 10 million tonnes? Just due to Inertia I mean, using the same amount of "engine" force.

Sun Crusher is a non threat - it's stuck in the middle of a star and I doubt any Jedi is going to pull it out any time soon.

The Galaxy Gun fires missiles, right? Which can be shot down with ease...
