Dude, do you know how big they are ? They are small, you can replace every turbolaser with them and you don't have to do hull modification. Every ship in the Maw Installation Fleet have them. 60 of those pointing at you.

Star Fleets registry recognizes over 80,000 ships of various construction. If just a quarter of those ships are combat level and worthy that means the Federations active Fleet is 20,000 ships strong...and easy match against the 25,000 Star Destroyers at the height of Palpatines reign.
