thats the point we are all so dependent on China goods that even if they do kill all the Tibet people...we would be crazy to boycott anything as this would lead to a great world depression.

China is easily replaced, it would take a month or two at most.

ah, the ball would be rolling in about a week.

Wouldn't Tibet just slip into being a 3rd world country if China let it free?

I think Tibet would take being a 3rd world country over being controlled by China, but they don't really have a choice. All the 3rd world countries are going to be forced out of existence via imperialism.

I sincerely believe the Tibet thing coming up at this time is not something Dalai Lama could make out by himself. He has the western money and media behind him. Is China evil? I was there and I didn't see any evil actually. Is it oppressive? yes, it is, mostly towards the minorities. Will it replcace the UK in the Axis of Evil (U.S., Isreal, UK)? Definitely not yet.

Actually, because of the trade with the West, China's moved forward phenomenally in the past 50 years.

I read in a recent Washington Post article that China just passed new labor laws. It prevents employees from being beat and coerced into working, as well forcing companies to pay for overtime, work on holidays, contribute to insurance, and pay workers they fire one month of salary for every year they worked.

Of course, businesses there are having a cow. The cost of labor is about to skyrocket.

China isn't evil. China is just a country populated by pedestrian racist bigots.

During my last visit to China, this aged hippie pridefully compared his own belt-length pony tail to that of a nubile Chinese maiden.

"We are alike, though my ponytail is longer."

"No," she replied, "yours is not black."

I want to go "f*** you in the neck".. but I wont. Did you even read my post? Did you even see what I said about Chinese arms in Africa? I am living this first hand. I am having to deal with China supporting the dictators so they can get lands and resources cheaply. I am watching the genocide in Sudan, I am watching the weapons headed for China coming through our ports (though thankfully the trade unions here refused to unload them!)

Racism my ass... personally, I think Chinese girls are super hot, and I dont have a problem with the people (I lived with a Chinese guy two years and he was the best flat mate I ever had). I have a major problem with their government.

I am looking at Chinese weapons coming into Africa, and I am looking at the governments China is supporting.

Now if I critisize them and their policies, "its racism". FKUITN. Get off your little racial horse, because its lame.

Evil' implies some universal morality to to base 'evil' on. Much of the world would see the USA as evil while others would see Iran, etc.

I'd say the most 'negative' countries are the rich Arab oil producers. They have the basis, economic wealth, to actually be a positive influence yet are basically feudal societies fostering almost every type of 'ism' from fascism to racism to sexism to terrorism. They do nothing to improve or advance human civilization. Most of the other so-called 'evil' countries have some positives or at least are pre-occupied with other issues such as poverty, over population, and so on.

An interesting point. Besides buying golden toilet bowls and exporting hate, you'd think there'd be something useful some of those nations might do with their petro-dollars.

Its called freedom of expression to say that people of other religions or any religion are stupid and delusional; or violent terrorists; or prone to evil deeds. Or isn't it?

    Most evil?

Im a young Chinese, and im very confusing

What do you want from Us?

When We were called Sick man of Asia, We were called The Peril.
When We are billed to be the next Superpower, We are called The threat.

When We were closed our doors, You smuggled Drugs to Open Markets.
When We Embrace Freed Trade, You blame us for Taking away your jobs.

When We were falling apart, You marched in your troops and wanted your "fair share".
When We were putting the broken pieces together again, "Free Tibet" you screamed, "it was an invasion!"

( When Woodrow Wilson Couldn't give back Birth Place of Confucius back to Us,
But He did bought a ticket for the Famine Relief Ball for us.)

So, We Tried Communism, You hated us for being Communists
When We embrace Capitalism, You hate us for being Capitalist.

When We have a Billion People, you said we were destroying the planet.
When We are tried limited our numbers, you said It was human rights abuse.

When We were Poor, You think we are dogs.
When We Loan you cash, You blame us for your debts.

When We build our industries, You called us Polluters.
When we sell you goods, You blame us for global warming.

When We buy oil, You called that exploitation and Genocide.
When You fight for oil, You called that Liberation.

When We were lost in Chaos and rampage, You wanted Rules of Law for us.
When We uphold law and order against Violence, You called that Violating Human Rights.

When We were silent, You said you want us to have Free Speech.
When We were silent no more, You say we were Brainwashed-Xenophobics.

Now! you call my homeland is a most evil country??

What do you really want from us?
    Think Hard first, then Answer...

We want One World, One Dream, And Peace On Earth.
This planet is Big Enough for all of Us! isnt it??

Are you referring to a specific philosophy within a religion, or just all kaffir? Because I think you may have the two mixed up. Is it fair religious nationalism then to kill them? Because in some places they think it is.

Huh. And here I thought you didn't like the Saudis' way of business. My apologies.

I think a more accurate statement would be "why China's Communist government is evil".

Don't forget the 25,000,000+ Chinese civilains killed under the Chinese Communist government from 1949-1975.
