What is your reason for bringing that up, specifically?

Yeah - the guys at work told me all about it: before she got her skin darkened by the hormone shots, to get the liberal vote, she/he used to wear dresses a lot and hang around with Shriners and Jews.

I don't believe it, though. Her "partner" doesn't look like the type who goes for dykes in dresses, and you can tell that photo's been lightened to make her look white. They're just making shit up.

Obama is projected to win Mississippi and all the news I see points out how he got a lot of the black vote, and calls it part of a continuing trend. This is a stupid, and pro-Hillary focus. Blacks are about 12% of the primary voters. Women are about 60% (that is not as exact, but the best I've seen). iirc, they both have roughly 2:1 margins in their respective demographics... :/ Oh well, I hope democrats don't actually care.

Why do his campaign advisers make promises to governments of other countries? I'd vote for a Republican just because of that. He seems dishonest. I want to vote for someone who puts Americans' interests first, even if he's slightly off in understanding what those interests are.

Try it on, let us know, please

Whitewolf, I'd like you to test-drive a statement. Just find yourself a quiet room where there's nobody around and speak it to the air a few times. Maybe say it to yourself in the mirror. Just try reciting it, and then maybe try to make it a conversational point. And perhaps pretend for a moment that you're one of the talking heads on FOX News or MSNBC or something.

Take it for a spin and let us know what you think of it, please.

    The statement:

America's interests must come demonstratively first, even if the assessment of those interests is wrong. Which is why I'm glad George W. Bush invaded Iraq in order to avenge 9/11 and increase our prestige abroad. We should simply send out our military to take what we want because securing American interests through rational, progressive, and diplomatic means makes it look like we're putting other people first.

    Thanks.

Your point is right in regards to your statements about GW. Whitewolf isn't saying that he wants a Republican or that he's happy about what Bush has done (I mean... who the hell is?). But, it still isn't so odd that we would want a candidate who isn't negotiating with the Canadians regarding his campaign platform. That is an issue.

Why George Jr. started the war in Iraq.... After Greenspan told him that Saddam could be unfavorable for U.S. economy.... I didn't mean that George Jr. was right in his decisions, and it's still a question if he had the citizens' interests on his mind. But we're voting for America's President, not a Canadian or British pawn. I don't want him campaigning in Canada. That Canada is interested is fine, but foreigners ought not play a role in the election. Americans' interests don't always match interests of other countries.

All the candidates probably have contact with other countries.
