So why censor films that show the anti-semitism prevalent in Dutch society during the Holocaust?

Why have laws that don't allow people to question the Holocaust?

Yes, rich, but consigned to the ghetto just like in Europe, due to the innate anti-semitism of the locals.

The jewish quarter of Jerusalem which constitutes the area of the Wailing Wall is a ghetto?

Are you saying that Jews did not want to live there? That they were forced to live in the biggest city in Palestine next to the Jewish religious monument due to anti-semitism?

    They don't..

Only the scene in which he said "My mother said that if the war ends at 12 o'clock, a Jew will already cheat you at 5 past 12" was deleted.
This is discrimination and thats illegal in the Netherlands.

And making a film that discriminates against Muslims is not discrimination?

Do they remove ALL references that show discrimination against ANY group in Dutch films?

As far as I know, you could deny the Holocaust and I know not of any person who got into prison for trying to do so. Aside from that, why should you want to deny the Holocaust? It seems like a foolish thing to do.

There are neo-Nazis in the Netherlands, yes. I do not know the law good enough to confirm that it is actually illegal. I do suspect most will agree that, given that this ideology resulted in extreme violence, they should at least be under a watchful eye. In the same way any other group with violent and radical tendencies should be monitored.

I simply don't understand what you are driving at. For all practices and purposes, there is a freedom of speech in the Netherlands. Does that mean that you can go on TV bluntly saying that all children with brown eyes should be beheaded? No. There are extremes, which start at the moment violence is advocated, that will get you into court. Whether Wilders is out of line, we'll just have to see.

It is against the KORAN. Actually, it is said to criticize the Koran, which doesn't necessarily means it's against the Koran.

(I don't care for Holocaust denial, but I see no reason to have laws against it). As you can see from my example above, there is an attempt to censor anti-Jewish sentiments as well (based on illegality of discrimination, according to Enmos).

However, when films are made that target a minority, they are not considered as discrimination but as freedom of expression. Why the double standards?

Especially when there are laws that prevent discrimination on religious grounds?
How is it equal treatment for Muslims when a Dutch politician makes a film that specifically targets only Muslims?

And Muslims (and ONLY Muslims) follow the Quran.

If you say the Quran promotes terrorism, you are saying that Muslims who follow the Quran are terrorists.

If you burn or tear the book, this is directed hate at all Muslims who follow the Quran.

When its only a small minority of Muslims who are terrorists, how can they permit anyone to target all Muslims in this manner?

It targets the Koran for all we know, not Muslims.

I'm not saying they didn't want to live there, that's not what a ghetto means. But if they wanted to be farmers, it was impossible. When more people came and wanted to move out into the country, the Muslims had a fit.
