The crustaceans and molluscs I eat get humanely euthenased ( chilled in the fridge 'til they go into suspended animation then die).
I also kill fish, they get the Japanese method of ike jima, very swift.

The cat and my family get fresh seafood, one of the lowest footprint ( ecological footprint, you know, cost of production, fuel, fertilisers, pesticides etc.) foodsources there is.

At the moment no. I have had many. I had a cat named 'Ninga' that beat of a rotweiler! Now he is staying with my brother-in-law, Another one that comes to mind is the mighty cat 'Fuzzy', she learned to stop killing birds after I had a 'talk' with her. She was the wisest cat I have ever known. She passed on. I had a dream she was reborn as a Tiger.

Glad we're on the same wavelength Draq.

p.s, think you'll find they are not crabs but southern rock lobsters, Jasus verreauxii.

"ruining" in which aspect? I am discussing a very relevant of a discussion to the inadequate relation of humans to whom they chose shall live and be pets for them and who shall be eaten.

That cat is adorable! Is it real "verbal" like so many Siamese are? I used to have one. He was hysterical. A real talker.

Yeah, Muscovy Ducks can be pretty feisty. They also have serrations on their bill and an egg tooth that can make a nip something to remember.

We kept a few Guinea Hens as watchdogs. They and the goose made lots of noise whenever a stranger was in the vicinity.

Yeah Sandy, he's adorable, only just 12 months old and has personality to burn, loves a chat, drinks wine with me, great with the kids, very funny, very relaxed, very social, loves the beach.
    He's a Tonkinese ( Siamese/Burmese derivative).
    The breed came highly recommended.
He's the second favourite animal I've ever had and I've had a few.
