It seems that people with more money would be more able to raise a family than a family with little income. I think young people today seem to be test drivng relationships, which I think is a good idea and would reccommend it in some shape or form to young people. You never really know who you're marrying until you're living with them all day every day. People have a funny way of hiding their annoying or bad qualities when you're just dating. I've made that mistake before.

No, you want more people.. for 'prosperity'. If you would have your way populations would soar.
Receding populations is actually a good thing to me.

That's what I want to know, you started on that..

Men don't want to commit. That's evolutionary biology. Women have few eggs, but men have lots of sperm. If you can get a many woman to raise your kids without involvement, that's a win. Your so-called 'ghetto' lifestyle has been around many more thousands of years that your marriage custom.

If you can't put up with a person's idiosyncracies, than you're not in love. Sure, the sex's great, but you're not in love. There is no good reason for "test drives".

A receding population is not a good thing. You lose your economic skill base, and political influence. Perhaps, you look forward to it, but certainly no Western country is.

If men don't want to commit, then how come so many men get married? I'm not arguing that the ghetto lifestyle is not old, I'm arguing that it's bad policy and unfortunately spreading to the upper and middle classes.

The problem with that is, most young people have never been in love previously and think that they are madly in love when their actually not. I thought I was in love with my husband when we were just dating and then I spent a few months with him and he started driving me crazy. We would fight and argue and I got fed up and left for a while. I realized I was being childish later and then we worked things out and got married, but if we had already been married I would have divorced him and that would have been the end of that.

Maybe, but then.. you get to keep nature and breathable air and stuff. That has got to be worth something wouldn't you say ?

That's what parents are for. Explain to kids what love is.

I highly doubt that people not getting married would cause the population to drop to 5 people. As you know children don't require silly little things like marriage to pop up all over the place.

Our advanced civilizations are based on large populations. You can do a lot more things with lots more workers.

You can't desribe what love is. And even if you could its different for everyone. I tried to tell my daughter she was being foolish when she wanted to marry her boyfriend right out of high school. I tried to explain to her that she wasn't really in love, but all she had for me was " YOU DON'T KNOW HOW I FEEL!" and blah blah blah. She was right though I didn't know how she felt because I'm not her and when she found out that her "lover" hunted deer for fun, she had a fit a broke off her engagement. Point is somethings can be taught to your kids, but things like how love or sex will affect them is a personal experience. Unfortunately for us parents

Sorry, you guys can't keep up with me. The tiger is an exaggeration of life returning to the jungle because the declining population base results in the disintigration of technological society, reverting Western Europe to third world country status.
