Well riots for jobs, vacations, schools, unions, yes,... but Moslems rioting for Dar al-Islam, and Sharia Law, those the French won't tolerate, Algeria is still in the back of their minds.

You have got to be kidding. How does an OP that talks about information on possible suspected information on unknown terrorists from Portuguese sources in Le Monde translate to posts on how Khomeini interprets Islam?

Those are underprivileged second generation French citizens you are referring to, you know that, right?

Please substantiate your claims that French immigrant populations have rioted for dar-al-islam or sharia.

    PROOF, please.

I'll answer that one, policy, religious policy, the core of Islam as espoused and enumerated, by one of its most respected Ayatollahs, in Islam, and not just Him alone, but all through out the religious leadership of Islam.

This is hate posting.^^^^ demonising people who do not even have a standard religious hierarchy that they "respect"

I don't read them all. Report the post. I'll read it and close it if I feel it is too troublesome.

Just keep in mind: criticism, even ad hom criticism of any religion, is fair game in my book. I'm not a fan of any of them, and history has shown that most Abrahamic religions have lots of blood on their hands.

That's really brilliant, Brian. Any attack anywhere in the world by Muslim terrorists is the fault of the United States and if innocent civilians are killed or maimed we should not blame the people who planted the bombs but the United States. Those poor Muslim terrorists are being forced to kill innocent people.

the new Muslim activists were jihad-oriented and envisioned a takeover of a barren Christian Europe. "We do not want to assimilate," said Brussels-based Arab European League founder Dyab Abu Jahjah. "Assimilation is cultural rape. It means renouncing your identity, becoming like the others." Instead, the pro-Al Qaida Muslim activists in France adopted jihad. In the 1990s, hundreds of French Muslims flocked to Bosnia to participate in the civil war in Yugoslavia. They returned after several years as hardened fighters ready to lead the Muslim masses in jihad. With the help of the new Saudi-financed mosques, they began to indoctrinate and train Muslim teenagers in holy war and combat, guerrilla warfare and even bomb assembly.

Nothing to do with the riots.

Show me proof that they rioted for sharia, especially considering there were Portuguese and local French people also rioting with them.

I'm sure the Lakota would like an independent state too, and the Cherokee and would prefer immigrants to assimilate to their culture.

I will hence forth be sure to ignore them if they are in keeping with your normal querulous nature. Provided that you can actually prove the point, I'll take your complaint under advisement.

What, that I require you to substantiate a complaint with something more substantial than, "It's all America's fault!"

    You're right... no surprises there.

(perhaps you didn't read the qualifier... also, no surprises there)

    And we digress.........

But SpAM won't accept the other citation? so what should I do?

There is a lot of information, that requires reading, and it doesn't have some single paragraphs citation to cut and past, it requires comprehension of the story, and comprehension is something sadly lacking with some people here.

This guy doesn't seem to agree. Let's see what Osama has to say about it:
"I'm fighting so I can die a martyr and go to heaven to meet God. Our fight now is against the Americans." -- Osama bin Laden, quoted by Al-Quds Al-Arabi newspaper

"Hostility toward America is a religious duty, and we hope to be rewarded for it by God . . . . I am confident that Muslims will be able to end the legend of the so-called superpower that is America. Time Magazine
"We--with God's help--call on every Muslim who believes in God and wishes to be rewarded to comply with God's order to kill the Americans and plunder their money wherever and whenever they find it. We also call on Muslim ulema, leaders, youths, and soldiers to launch the raid on Satan's U.S. troops and the devil's supporters allying with them, and to displace those who are behind them so that they may learn a lesson." Feb. 1998 - Bin Laden edict

``We are seeking to incite the (Islamic) nation to rise up to liberate its land and to (conduct) jihad (holy war) for the sake of God." -- al-Jazeera, June 1999.

Of course we should ignore what the jihadists say, and just listen to SAM. To even suggest that when Osama says "I'm fighting so I can die a martyr and go to heaven to meet God." he's motivated by religion is anti-muslim hate speech. Same deal when he speaks of God's order to kill the Americans. There's no religious motivation there. That's strictly secular. If only those jihadists weren't so secular, they wouldn't think God had ordered them to kill Americans!

Christians are the same damned way. Islam and Christianity are the two most F'd up war-like religions there are. Let em both kill each other off for all I care, just too bad I'd be in the middle of it.
