Somehow about Islam, you say?? Somehow? In case you haven't noticed, the terrorists are Muslim. They are motivated by their religion. They find psycho imans to issue fatwahs in support of their actions.

So clearly Islam has a lot more to do with a discussion of a planned terror attack on the Eiffel tower than a band of mercenaries hired by the Mexican government over a hundred years ago!

This is clearly hate speech against Muslims since research has shown that terrorists are more likely to be secular and less likely to be religious.

The present trend of terrorism is more connected to US foreign policy than religion.

Lets delve a little deeper my friend. Shouldn't it be pointed out that many of the anti-Islam threads and posts on this forum are made by Christians that believe in all that End Times nonsense (Christ returning and the slaughtering of the Muslims), and also all that stuff about Muslims declaring war against the rest of the World blah blah. These posters also tend to be fervent supporters of the ‘war of terror’.

These Christians are as bad as the Muslim extremists in my opinion.

Absolutely, moreover, there is no attempt by the moderators to disallow posting of such Islamophobic sentiments by these Christian extremists who lump all 1.5 billion Muslims under pejorative terms such as Islamic militants.

Now explain why they are now taught their tribal languages in school, they are accorded all their tribal rights, and dual citizen ship, if they live on the reservations they don't pay taxes to the U.S. or States, SpAM thing have changed especially in the last 50 years, I have been there, I have seen the changes in the reservations, I have seen the changes in my friend standard of living, I have proudly attended POW WOW with my friends, and blood brothers, yes there are still some problems, but those problem exist even in the rest of American society.

You want to point your big finger under our nose, and cry shame, well how about India? There is more than enough information how thing are for the Dalit, in India, the segregation, the discrimination, the forced prostitution of their women, and children.

    Moderator Note:

Buffalo, my mind spins when I see these lengthy posts with BIG RED letters. Just because all of the information is germane to the discussion at hand, doesn't mean that you need to post every last iota of the article or document. Try editing it down to the nub of the matter and provide links for those who are interested in reading more. I can assure you that the vast majority of the people here just skim past what you write when you write at such length.

...and I apologize for going way off topic. It strikes me that US Republicans should be really happy about the prospect of terrorism on French soil, after all the French don't "get it" about the war 'o terra, do they?

I have to believe that there are people (more likely Republicans than Democrats) who want to see France et al attacked so that they are more likely to join our cause.

    [note: I'm frickin' starving]

Likewise, I think that there are people (More likely Democrats than Republicans) who want to see the US hurt internationally (errr... hurt more), to besmirch[er?] the name of the current president.

No I think after the riots the French are waking up, that is why President Sarkozy was elected.

You obviously know nothing about the French if you think riots are going to bother them.

Indeed. If rioting and protesting were a profession, the French would be the wealthiest people on Earth (followed closely by the Spanish-- I mean, for Allah's sake: as a students IN HIGH SCHOOL, we went on strike)

Irrelevant. That was two centuries ago. They were bloodier times in Europe.

    Yup

He's the first French President from immigrant stock.

However, he is more likely to lose out due to his divorce and public affair, which has his popularity slipping, and which makes me wonder, whatever happened to l'amour?

Have the French become less Liberté, égalité, fraternité,?

Now SpAM, you lump all Christians together under pejorative terms, you make the U.S. responsible for every problem in the world to day under pejorative terms, and you edited your post from the original cry for the Mods to stop the Bad people from calling your religion into question.

You love to dish it out, but you can't handle the well deserved criticism of Islam for its actions in todays world, you exhibit the prime Moslem hypocrisy of, Islam is Perfect, and all Moslem actions are justified by the Quran, and no criticism of Islam, or actions taken under it's Authority from the Quran, can be made, while all the time questioning in pejorative terms the legitimacy of all other religions, their actions, and believers.

I beg to differ. I've closed one thread and deleted and edited NUMEROUS posts that were outright hateful (and SPAMish, just recently, in fact). Moreover, I've never edited or deleted any post that attacks Christianity. Must mean I hate Christ.

You may want to research the topic before making wild claims.
