Here's an answer from youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MYFvIoLPzkA I am using the word in the same way as Robert Browning was . A Jellyfish is very similar to a nuns Headdress.
Oh. You must have been with some mutant kind of women then. Maybe if I squint, I can see some kind of resemblance....nope.
Hundreds Injured in Mass Jellyfish Attack on Brazilian Beach SAO PAULO, Brazil — Nearly 300 swimmers looking to cool off from a heat wave were stung by swarms of jellyfish that filled the shallow waters off a southeastern beach city, Brazilian media reported Sunday. At least 15 people including children and teenagers were treated in Praia Grande for severe stings, doctor Adriano Bechara told the Tribuna newspaper, though their lives were not in danger. Many of the injured arrived at medical centers Friday and Saturday crying from the pain of the stings, paramedic Claudio Casadei told Tribuna. Most were treated and released. Authorities blamed an extreme heat wave over the southeastern region for the swarm. Hundreds of thousands of Brazilians flock to the country's beaches every year during the holiday season.
Now that's just plain stupid! Jellyfish don't attack anything, they just swim along and someone or something brushes into to them. I've never seen as of yet a jellyfish ever seek out someone at the beach and swim over to that individual just to attack him/her.Many people though seem fascinated by them and sometimes venture to close to look at them better and kids will actually try to pick them up! Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! they fascinate me. Always have. When I was younger we lived in FL. I saw a Man of War washed ashore. My Grandma's hysteria that we stay away from it, just made them fascinating. Then when my son was 3 he got stung in Galveston bay by a small blue one. We saw a bunch of them in the water when we went over in the ferry, but I never thought to warn him of them.
Which would you prefer Orleander, to be stung by a small Portuguese Man of War, or to listen to Glen Campbell sing Galveston 50 times?
Hyperjele? How about this choice Orleander. Being stung by a Portuguese Man o War this size. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Or listening to Galveston being sung by Greg 20 times. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AEIIdvYzrFU
