Do you get a percentage of sales ? Product placement should be banned on here.If you persist I'll advertise my genuine souvenirs of Ireland, handcrafted in China

Haven't you ever heard them called that? That's what us etechs call an cord with an ac plug on one end and alligator clips (or just bared ends) on the other. Very handy, always have a few around. The origin of the name is fairly obvious.

Yeah. That was a sort of laughing "Heh".

We always called them "suicide plugs".

    Hadn't heard that one.

Nice to have around though. Need to have some way to get past all that osha and ul mandated safety interlock crap or you never get anything done.

The absolute best way hasn't even been mentioned yet. It's SO easy to do, no one will ever know you did it and you don't have to touch - or even see - the phone.

Call the service supplier and tell them to cancel the contract.

    Boom! Phone goes dead.

but if he wants it off without it known why its off, I doubt it his phone he's talking about. I think he wants someone else's phone to not work.

    Use a cell phone jammer.

Cell Phone Jammer is an instrument to prevent cellular phone from receiving and transmitting the mobile signals to the base station. Mobile Cell Phone Jammer can block all kinds of mobile phone's ringing sound at all places such as church, mosque, library, movie theater and meeting room. You just buy it and just attach it at some place. And you will never hear the bell sound of mobile phone any more

Just a wee bit of overkill, don't you think - since it appears to be just a single phone he's concerned about?

Besides, it's highly doubtful the target will always stay just in range of the jammer and it will also be affecting other non-targeted phones as well.

All i care about is that the phone doesnt work when its at least around me. From what I have read about the jammers they only work in asia and europe. I live in the states. However I'm not quite sure why they would only work there, a signal is a signal, right?

Isn't this a lot like asking what's the best way to make Windows crash? Why bother, it's going to happen soon enough. My cell phone dies about every fourth time I try to use it. I have to take the battery out and reinstall it. It took a ten-minute wait on the help line to be told that high-tech trick. She told me she just wanted me to read what was written under the battery, but then when she said to just put it back I said, "You're rebooting the computer in it, aren't you?"
There are other substances that can do that. It happens to me with coffee.

Don't artificial bacon bits have exactly the same percentage of natural ingredients as a Twinkie? That's a whole lot of chemicals in there. I wonder what they're doing to your brain!
