But what's "superior" mean? Console's internal power? Most sales? Most available titles? Most available "good" titles? All of the above?

I've no problem not having a giant e-penis of PS3 processing power (which I already have beaten with my PC, hence my reason to not even bother with a PS3 or 360, but rather the innovated Wii that I can't have the same experience on my computer) if it ranks last in all other categories, heh.

Jeez I guess I'll just wait another 6months and build a PC that can do blueray(maybe even burning), plug into 1080P tv and deliver quality video etc.

hmmm that's a good excuse to get a kick ass stereo and plug it into the computer.

Console games suck anyway, the kids can play outside.

 

Console games are way better then comp games, I cant stand using a keyboard wasd shit to control my character when I can have a much more comfortable controller instead.

 

I would say so.
Have that computer. I don't care. I don't see too much of a problem with graphics as good as they are for the Ps3. Have you seen that amazing flying game. Just as real life as it gets, therefore, the Ps3 is equated with having a gaming system on par with any other gaming format.

Besides.
Superior as far as popularity goes wise. It's simple. You take the Ps3 and compare it with popularity and ratings, through the game informer. If it wins the consol wars, as far as goes the jest of "Game Informer" shit, then I will win the five dollars. As it stands, it looks like it is winning. This is my humble opinion...

 

People are going to buy the cheaper console as long as it has all/most of the same games as the more expensive console, and as long as it has more overall titles.

 

But I thought everyone wanted a PS3 because it's the best? If the PC is able to deliver the best graphics, and you seem to not have much of a problem with the graphics as good as they are for the PS3, then there shouldn't be a problem with the 360's graphics since they're basically the same as well. So then what is the reason to own a PS3? A 360 is cheaper, has tons more games than it, and is similar with its graphics-as-good-as-they-are-even-though-it's-not-a-PC.

Nah. Price hardley matters at this point. The ps3 is only 500. The tons more games has not the slightest impact, and the ps3 is the superior consol.
Over all titles doesn't matter in the slightest.
The thing that gets people, is the superior consol.
The better games.
The better graphics.
The better "consol." Would you call a X box a better consol than the ps2? No, you would not. You would say the ps2 is the better consol. Despite graphics. Because of the better games. The ps3 continues the same tradition.

Ps3 is the better consol. I would rather own a Ps3 than a 360. The similar games is not going to matter at a certain point.

I used to own a 360 only. I loved it and wanted it to do very well. But I knew in the back of my mind my hatred over the ps3. I wanted one, although it was as that time 600$. But I also didn't want one, since the 360 seemed to be doing well. But as a matter of consols go, for me, I at that time thought that I wasn't sure. I think the ps3 is the best, and it will be the best.
It is a tough call that's for sure.
But the 360 doesn't deliver on as many areas. Like the better games. Ps2 had the games. I'm sticking to Sony to deliver. I know that it will. I am not surrendering because you think that the 360 is the "superior consol". When it in fact is not.

 

You just said that titles dont matter, Fromthe last console war we can see that titles and price are the only thing that matters.

Ps2 did NOT have better graphics then the xbox, so why did it win?

The ps2 had a TON more titles, better titles, and was way cheaper.

 

What better games? All their great titles keep getting pushed back. The longer it takes for the momentum to come, the more developers move away from the PS3. Their cream of the crop games are just taking way too long to be released! And most games that have been on both the 360 and PS3, the 360 version's scored higher.

Also Uncharted is supposedly the best PS3 game to date. Guess how many copies it sold in Japan on the 1st day? 7k. And in the UK? Debuted in at 28th place. So much for their best game to date.

Well, you're gonna be in for a sad trip then because you don't understand why the PS2 had all the games. It wasn't because it was a more powerful console. It wasn't because it had the name Sony on it. It was because it had the most exclusive titles and developers. Right now, Sony does not have that with the PS3. There's way too many crossplatform titles and previously exclusive titles just aren't so exclusive anymore, not to mention many developers moving away from the PS3. No games = not-so-great system.

It's simple really. Entirely too simple.
The ps2 won because the system was far superior. It had FAR better games. More titles doesn't justify. The ps3 is pumping incredible titles, and will continue to pump "BETTER" titles (key word) to the sky and on to infinity.

So. What are you talking about.
I don't care wh at so ever about price. Similar titles for both systems. Or anything. I care about the better games.
And the higher quality system. The playstation three is the higher quality system. It "will" be the higher quality system.

 

Neildo, would you prefer a sony playstation, or an xbox 360.
The choice is pretty simple..

Why do I even listen to you people.
I know that I am hard to understand.

Even impossible at this time. And it is difficult to defend myself as well.

But understand one thing.

It is going to deliver the better games.
Everyone knows this.
I'd prefer a playstation 3 over a 360. It's highly popular anyway.

Tons more games doesn't matter, it is the better games that matters. And N equating the loss of games from the playstation three is insane.
He simply hasn't touched it.

 

Obviously not everyone ....By the 360 sales estimates I would say about12 million people arent aware of this at all. =p


Loss of title exclusivity is a huge deal for Ps3. Name 10 really good games for PS3, you cant
