Nothing really matters in the grand scheme of things.
I'm even starting to doubt if there is such a thing as a 'grand scheme of things'.

If earth was to suddenly disappear tomorrow, who would care. Nobody would be around to care. What if the universe goes 'poof' suddenly.. what does it all matter ?
Do we exist ? Does anything exist ?

    YES!!! I agree!!
That's why I try and make the most of now.
There is no reason why we are alive. We just are. One big happy accident.

You say there is no reason why we are here, but are we really here.

Philosophers have been wondering about this for millenia.

Odd that - the thought that one first needs to know the Universe before one has the confidence to seek one's own happiness.

I say questions like "Do we exist? Does anything exist?" are pointless. They tie you up in knots and leave you there.
Anyone caring for their own long-term welfare and happiness would not engage in attempting to answer such questions.

But what do you say ? Does it matter if the universe were to disappear suddenly tomorrow ? The only answer to that can be 'no'..

One should not get worked up over if's.
It is the sign of an idle mind.

Seriously - I don't mean to sound harsh. But I am frustrated over how I wasted so many years wondering about such if's. I wondered If ... if ... if ... but the world didn't end, the Universe didn't disappear, there was tomorrow - and I realized I had wasted another day.

You make what you want out of life. You choose your own destiny.

I agree. And I am human so I do what comes naturally. But at the same time I can't stop to think about it, wonder about it.
    Please answer that question though

Nothing wrong with wondering just don't get caught up in it for it tends to

    drag you down.

It won't drag me down, I've had these ideas for years now. I recently got another angle on it though that got me thinking about it again.

Of course we are. If it was all a dream/fantasy, I wouldn't have to watch what I eat, Drafur wouldn't happen, and Baron would be happy.

Why do people have to over think such easy obvious things?

You seem to have some interest in Greenberg agreeing. This agreeing would be just one tiny piece of the universe. How can you invest concern and energy in such a small piece while trying to convince us that the whole thing means nothing.

It means nothing to those who cannot "see". Whatever we want to see in

life tends to let us choose our course through existance.

No not dream/fantasy. I mean this does not exist. I can't explain it really.

It'll pass in a couple of days probably lol

    Because I am human.
I know it doesn't make sense..

I don't want him to agree though, I just want him to answer the question

Maybe, but it isn't really about human experience. It's about existence on it's most basic level.

Well, that's better, but still an interest in a small thing.

Enmos, I think at some point a lot of force got aimed at each of us not to experience the world, ourselves, each other subjectively. The pressure was to be objective. I am not saying that being objective - whatever that is anyway - is wrong. I am saying that when you post your questions, to me I see the results of the aftermath of this force. Almost like a bruise.

I know this may sound strange but I think to actually try to answer your question objectively is, in a sense, to go along with the beating you got. I am speaking metaphorically.

There is no reason why we must seriously consider that nothing matters and that to think something matters is being too subjective.

It's like telling a dog he should not enjoy running.
