Why are americans fat?

And it also has to do with the abundance of food that makes Americans fat, not just fast food, bigger portions, tastier foods and such. If you think back 50 to 60 years ago the majority of the American public were skinny and a small portion are fat. And now it's the other way around.

Americans are fat because we have money...

The more money we have = the more food we can buy = the more food we eat = the more weight we gain = the more fat we acquire.

Americans are fat because of fluorine in the water they drink...fluorine does not allow bacteria in the stomach to aid in digestion process and thus food is stored as fat.

Okay. But then why are Europeans fat? Why are Germans fat? And there's an fat problem in China, too. And, believe it or not, there's a fat problem in many nations of the world where you wouldn't think that fat would be a problem. So....

Why are Americans being singled out in this thread when there are fat people all over the world?

I dont get why I got an infraction here...or warning...I am offering a complete new theory to why Americans are fat, since all the water supply in USA is treated with fluoride that fluoride kills bacteria and also when people drink tap water in USA they bring that fluoride inside them and cause death of healthy digestion bacteria which thus cause the food to be converted to fat because of lack of acid to digest it and lack of bacteria to aid in digestion.

No, excess glucose gets converted and stored as fat.

 

Thats what I am saying because of lack of good bacteria (as a result of their death from intake of water with fluoride) like lactobacillus and bifidus which would have digested the food, the bad helicobacter pylori does not allow digestion to take place and almost all that excess glucose is converted to fat

No. Rural Americans are fatter than urban Americans. Folks who don't have flouridated water are the fattest. Rural children are also bigger porkers.

 

This is true! When I went to Germany when I was younger, to visit relatives. Those ppl ate constantly, drank a hell of a lot too. There was quite a lot of very large ppl in that country.

They are probiotic bacteria in the intestine; and they are "destroyed" everytime you take antibiotics.

There is no significant effect of fluoride seen in clinical studies on Oral cariogenic bacteria.

And since these Intestinal bacteria digest food and make it MORE available, not less (undigested food is excreted) your premise is total BS.

 

fluoride is added to water to kill bacteria in the first place...as it travels down the stomach this fluoride kills other friendly bacteria as well.

ok so all that paper is saying is that streptococci and lactobaccilli bacteria were not really killed after fluorine varnish was applied to teeth...but this is different...it was not given time to absorb unlike water. People who drink tap water with fluoride drink alot of it and all this fluoride accumulates in their body killing the 1-2 kg of intestinal healthy flora along the way.

Also provide evidence that undigested food in colon is converted to fat and not poop.
