Why is being nude so "wrong"?

Oh well, at four I probably did the same thing. Shorty was talking about someone who was an adult, or at least at the age of reason.

    SAM:
No, of course not. We had to bust open a door once because my friend had passed out in the shower and we were afraid he'd fallen and knocked his head.

Eh. It depends on context. I ran around naked all the time when I was a kid and my parents didn't think much of it. I still skinny dip if I can when camping - my swimming suit is quite ornamental and more designed to look cute.
But I would find a family where the parents were naked in front of their children to be a bit odd. Something to do with being conscious of your body as sexual.

Yeah, we did not consider showering as an excuse for casual chatting

So would I; but I would not go into another room and lock it if I wanted to change my clothes, either.
Dad's a doctor, mom used to be a nurse; they did not have a concept of nudity as sexual, and we grew up with their concepts.

PS didn't mean they were okay with us partying in revealing clothes either, when we were young; thats a totally different subject

Me too......I mean when they are babies and such that is one thing. When they are older It doesn't sit well with me.

Xev, what do you think of Orleanders 9 yr old daughter being very much "nudie" as she said. In the company of her 13 yr old brother? who just apparently stopped streaking around. Do you find that fine?

9 years is young and he is her brother. My brother grew up with four females in relative states of undress around him for 30 years.

No because of your earlier comments about your kids running around naked at 9 and 13. Thats WHY i kept asking how old he was.......But you wouldn't answer until what 4 pages later after you are hearing negative feedback:shrug:

Obviously I thought he was older.

That's deceitful, so he'd be out.
Thing is, I go out and interact with attractive, uninhibited, (shirtless) guys all the time. It is sorely tempting, and I could really not blame a person too hard for seizing the opportunity for some good sex. I would be more concerned about disease than jealous.

Precisely. The latter to me is (not intending to open some can of worms) more a deal-breaker: whoever I sleep with had damn well better show respect for my desire and participation. But it's all in how you percieve things.

Boys get self conscious at puberty; we used to tease my brother unmercifully. Unfortunately for us, he grew out of that self conciousness way too fast.

my 8yr old son walks around naked all the time, he hates wearing clothes and there is nothing wrong with that, his older brother and sister just walk around him, and ignore him, i think if you make a fuss about nudity then the child would think there is somthing wrong with being naked and there's not, its the most natural state in the world

why would I dignify what you had to say with a response? Its not as if I ignored your question about his age and THEN you said he had no common sense. WAS IT?! You flat out were rude. And you don't apologize to people when you are rude. And when they say "That was rude", you say "tough shit, you're a liar" hell, yeah, I'm gettin all het up about it. Its my kid!
    Can you understand that!?

They're siblings, it's not that big a deal in my opinion - and kinda weird not to just pull on some damn pants, but everyone's different.

    To each her own.

And - raves, techno clubs, parties. My friends and I venture into Detroit maybe once a month, and there are a few places closer to home.

i would have to agree with you, my son like i said walks around naked all the time, he hates clothes and his brother and sister just walk around him and ignore it, theres nothing wrong with being naked, he's more comfortable that way, he'll grow out of it when he is ready.

Heh, from my experience of Christmas dances, I'd say their BAC would also play a role.
