Send my kids there? I wouldn't send my kids anywhere they didn't want to go (except for school, lol). If they want to become nudists, I'm not about to get all het up about it. If they were raised there, they wouldn't care.

Is it the stranger part or the naked part that upsets you? I think my son was about 13 when he quit streaking through the house and my daughter (9) is still very much a nudie.

I don't mean SEND (make) them go. I mean lets say there was a camp like this near your house. Would you mind if they went? It wouldn't bother you?

Both, my kids running around naked with strangers. When you say your daughter is a nudie what does that mean exactly?

Nevertheless, its no reason to live in fear of "strange" people your whole life.

Fact is there are no reports of children or adults for that matter having been sexually harrassed or abused at a nudist resort. Most places like that have VERY strict rules. And when anyone does act out of line, they don't just kick them out, they call the police.

I would look it as summer camp and ask the same questions before they went.
At bedtime and after a shower, she's naked til she gets yelled at to get clothes on. Naked is as natural to her as going barefoot is to me.

In my opinion, being nude, whether in public or private, is nothing to be ashamed or afraid of, whether your 2 or 92 years old. Its how we were born, and its only because of a) cold weather and b) social influences that have made nudity a far-fetched concept.

She doesn't feel strange running around naked, in front of your 13 yr old son?

Edit: Orleander... sorry for taking up your argument, lol.

It's because most Americans look better with clothes on.

I don't know, just asking. I am just going by the talks with my friends (moms)
and my own kids. How at a certain age they don't want you in the bathroom anymore when they are taking a bath and stuff, or getting dressed.......
Nobody has put any thoughts in their heads that it is wrong they just come to it all on their own. I guess our kids were just younger, then yours. My 6 yr old will still get naked in front of me but he kinda hides out more then he used too. Last yr he would streak down the hallway after a shower. I never said a word, but he just doesn't do it anymore, not because I put a stop to it. My 11 yr old wants his privacy and doesn't walk around naked.

If children are raised in an enviroment where everyone is clothed, then being clothed will become the "norm" for them. However, if they are raised in an environment where everyone is not clothed, then that will be the norm. I.E. Social Influences.

What countries have no problem with it?

We are the only species but the other species (99%) walk around around screwing indiscrimanatelty....is that what you want? Because we would be doing the same thing, like cavemen.

What? We're a lot more indiscriminate in our screwing than most species. We'll mate any time of year, rarely keep the same partner for life, mate with the same sex, and will even mate with other species (in some, admittedly fucked up, cases). The only areas where we discriminate more--and this is guessing on my part--is perhaps the age of the partner.

Once again, nudity does not equate sex.

If you've ever spent time in Europe, you'll know that many European countries have no issue with nudism. Its VERY common to see nudity at beaches (not just "nude beaches"), as well as seeing children playing in the streets and fountains in the nude. Furthmore, many Asian countries are the same way. I've been to 27 different countries around the world on 5 continents, and I've concluded over my reflections that America is the only one that feels as strongly as they do against nudism. Even in the middle east, it is common for adults and children alike to be completely nude when partaking in water-based recreation, such as playing in lakes and rivers.
