(>10,000 years? -I like things that are well tested in widespread use and show no harmful effects. BTW, some friends returning from Peru brought back some coke-leave tea bags. It is not bad, mildly stimulation but less so than coffee. US is all wrong trying to stop the unrefined use of coke leaves. Morales is right on this. He should know as he has been using and growing coke for this use all his life as did his grandfather 100 generations back. Let the US give up coffee first. - bunch of ignorant hypocrites, telling others how to live!) The Bayer Chemical company came from the root of a willow tree accidentally found (MHO) by applying, the clearly false (again, MHO) religious "doctrine of signatures." Even coffee was accidently discovered by a monk tending some grazing sheep so one story goes, but no one knows the truth.
