Well, when people hear the word "voyeur", they usually have a negative reaction to it. However, the voyeurism I am talking about, has nothing to do with sex. Why do people today feel the need to critically analyze every aspect of another individual? Alfred Hitchcock's film, "Rear Window", explores this. It just got me thinking. Any comments? My guess is capitalism.
lol, capitalism?? Because it makes some people feel better about themselves to find the bad in someone else.
We are a social ape. Our ancestors spend most of the day looking at other group members trying to figure out what their intent is. It is not a surprise that voyeurism holds great attraction to our primate brain.
Can you explain that more? You don't think that people everywhere are the same in what they do to some extent?
It seems to me that we have focused more on the external rather than the internal quest. something almost like how in Jonathan Livingstone Seagull, while other gulls use the ability to fly to feed themselves, squabble and so on Jonathan is more intrigued in the very fact that he can fly at all.....
