Halo 3! My son is downstairs playing it right now. We told him that since this is his senior year, we'd let him take 2 "personal days" from school and he opted to use one for this. I'll probably get a chance to play tommorow.

Anybody else get the game yet?

God these Halo fanatics give gamers an even worse reputation. fuckin losers lining up last night.

 

If I didn't have to worry about money and time anymore, Halo 3 would be pretty much on top of my list of things to do right now.

heh na I'll just buy it for 5 bucks at a garage sale in a year - along with an xbox 360 someone is getting rid of because the xbox720 just came out.

Frankly, as time goes on, graphics get better, gameplay goes down. I'm an olde school gamer with little patience for a shooter that rewards a shot that "gets close enough". The only shooters I even remotely liked(for realism mostly) was the MOH ones and ancestors like hidden and dangerous and WWIIONLINE.

I bet most of those guys have already piled through the 8 hours of actual gameplay for the campaign. You get less for more nowdays.

Yah. My brother bought it late last night after midnight. He's a big gamer. As for myself, I'm not much into shootem' uppers. Give me a good RPG or SRPG to play . . .

 

I don't understand how anyone can enjoy an FPS without a keyboard and mouse. The amount of agility and accuracy one can achieve with a mouse puts anything else to shame. I won't get an Xbox or a PS3 unless they sometime get an FPS game that supports a mouse and keyboard input for navigating and looking around.

In the meantime I'll be playing Farcry and Quake 3 on my PC.

 

I feel the same way, in terms of multipayer fps but to be honest most of the noobs with consoles don't even play online so they just have to shoot some dumb AI that strafes out of cover while hes reloading and you don't need a mouse for that

I think your a Noob Non logic......and you suck at console games so since you cant adapt you have to go around using this forumla "-insert whatever you suck at here- are/is for NOOBS" I would own you!

 

I never understood people who prefer to game on their computer. The graphics on my 360 are far superior to what my laptop can do. Also, the controller is a lot easier to use than the mousepad, shift key, or whatever on my computer.
