Was anybody disappointed with the ending of the X-Files? Do you think, as I, it could have been slightly more elaborate? Reiku :m:

The whole military court room was a fantastic, ingenius idea. Don't get me wrong, it was well-acted, and well set out. But, i was more hoping for a more challenging ending... I mean, Mulder escapes a millitary zone and ends up on the run with Scully? Neh... I was raked with the ending. I thought perhaps Aliens would have came down and started attacking the White House or somthing... But instead they made a deadline... which was unimaginatively, 2012... Mmm... I wonder what that number is mean't to represent?
2012 I think, is the end of the mayan calendar. I hope they tie in with the "aliens DNA modified primitive man to create us as labourer/slaves", mythology/UFO theory.
The thing that got me with that episode, was the dead baby right at the beginning... remember that? To think, that was on T.V. about 9 years ago... that's fuckin mental!

Its a quote from the Peacock episode. That baby was seriously messed up because it had 2 daddies. 2 sperms made it into the egg and just about every birth defect you can have, that kid did. Didn't help that the brothers were also father and son with the same legless/armless Mom who was kept under the bed. yeah....I don't remember many episodes at all except that one.
