Yeah, but atheists are hard put NOT to ask about religion when theists are in the room. Like the monkey said, hard to distinguish between science and belief for them. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Wow, primates DON'T conspire to leave the world a better place, yet DO conspire to form groups and go on the warpath. Typical theist ignorance.
You mean having opinions not based on facts? Yeah, after all everyone thinks the same way right? http://www.arabnews.com/?page=1§ion=0&article=64862&d=4&m=6&y=2005 And if they don't, there is obviously something wrong with them.
No. I mean atheist vs. theist thing. We are all people right ? No need to generalize or bash one side or the other over a topic that don't even have anything to do with atheists or theists.
Substitute your opinion with some facts, if you can. Both langurs and chimpanzees kill younger members of their tribe who "step out of place"; they murder children so that the mother will start menstruating again and become available to them. This is information available in journals/ Care to substantiate your opinions?
You are making general rules about primate behavior from individuals within those species. Many other chipanzees do not do this and there are other primates that do not have these behaviors. No other primate has ever murdered because of beliefs. The monothiesms have a terrible history in relation to violence.
Fine show me how primates concern themselves with improving the world. And also show me where it says that under the same conditions there are chimpanzees and langurs who protest against the murder and infanticide.
What is actually the topic. You people seem to throw out random statements. It would be nice to know the central theme. I thought I knew, but now I am not sure.
Perhaps some of the richer women. And I have lived in the Muslim world. Saudi women are restricted from such things as municipal voting. They also need their husband's permission to study. So you should work on the men too while you are endorsing the education of women.
The atheists changed the course of this thread according to S.A.M. Nothing to be surprised about, since atheists are the evil element in the world after all. ENMOS I thought this discussion was about "Evolution belief in America" SAM Yeah, but atheists are hard put NOT to ask about religion when theists are in the room. Like the monkey said, hard to distinguish between science and belief for them. ENMOS Sigh, give it up S.A.M. it is getting tiresome. SAM You mean having opinions not based on facts? Most of them are too happy with the lifestyle the government gives them to worry about human rights. They don't make sense to me, but then, even Americans don;t make sense to me. But I have met Saudi couples where both were educated working and very devoted to each other, so I guess there are people there who want to change the status quo. I'm not holding my breath for a revolution, but the fact that many study abroad and come back is good for the society as a whole.
Apparently all of evolution has been directed towards the creation of an advanced life form, humans. ^^^ and this is NOT the theistic viewpoint, either. Heh
it is. and it belongs firmly at the end of the 19th century and beginning of the 20th. (that is if we look at it from the perspective of evolution)
