A bit too complex for you huh?

You'd much rather waffle endlessly and - witlessly? - about memes. LOL.

Because it is going to be thrown down the stairs and it will strike only 13 of them before coming to a stop.

You are going to throw it at 13 people.

There's a family of people named clock and they will strike each other 13 times.

I wish it was a tune sometimes although I suppose you could get irritated by that as well.

On that note there have been a number of cases where the church bells have silences either through the Court or by more sinister and typically english means...in this case by a mystery Villager cutting the Bell ropes.

    http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/comment/faith/article2189458.ece

I think it somewhat fatuous for Secularists and Atheists to buy big homes near Churches and then complain at the merest peal of the Bell.....such pettifogging misery is all too typical in our materialistic ungodly World.

    http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/news/...ell ringers over 9pm practice peal/article.do

Anyway..I'll drag you all...kicking and screaming...BACK to the question...its not just a question about Chimes but about how the brain works.

An uncluttered innocent and unfettered creative brain would solve the question straight away.

..nowadays we're hidebound by rules and regulations...we are taught by means of rote and are brainwashed by the latest trendy fad though up by the latest trendy scientist...what was once Velikovsky is todays Meme theoriser..we really shouldnt give them much note...their credence will soon dwindle to a mere footnote in History.

    The Bell will...always Toll.

...and eventually someone somewhere will think practically like a workman making the Clock rather than thinking like someone who has been locked in a science lab breeding white mice!

What is it with you ? If you find scientists and atheists so irritating then why are you a member of sciforums ?
Why do you feel the need to constantly call them immoral, ignorant and what not ? Explain yourself..

Is that supposed to be an answer ?
I think you like trying to disrupt this forum. On top of that your arrogance is astounding and quite irritating.

Can we get back on-topic now, Enmos.

Prior to being redely interrupted...no the answer is nothing to do with quarterly chimes because they only chime once.

As you'll not in the heading the clock strikes 13 times. However you'll again note that it doesn't strike 14 o'clock, 15 o'clock, as in the 24 hr clock so it isn't that either.

You'll recall that the UK was the Centre of the Industrial Revoution at the time..thats a clue.

    Sorry about that.

You've got 2 choices..give Uri Geller a bell or buy a new one.

    Now back to the question.

SAM knows the answer and we've both been giggling at the replies - nuthin changes huh? - although to be fair, I only relented after several begging letters.

I know your all on tenterhooks...so to sate thee appetit here is the answer to the question..

How many molecules can you fit into an eggbox?

    More than an Oeuf!

    that an old french yoke.

    :-/

I thought that was the topic..
The threads you start all seem to have the purpose of ridiculing atheists and scientists. In every single one of your threads you accuse atheists and scientist (as if the two concepts are synonymous) of being immoral and inherently evil.
And now you are also calling them dumb for not solving your little riddle..
Don't you think its about time to give up ? At least state in your opening posts what the real purpose of the thread is, namely how incredibly immoral, dumb and short-sighted atheists and scientists are in your opinion.

The clock struck twelve times (12 o'clock) and on the last one it fell off the wall and hit you on the head, that was the 13th strike.

I'm doing my best to laugh at your wit, John...but somehow scientists seem to have missed out on the "Humour gene.

..well they found a gene for everything else

While you twiddle your thumbs, can you please think about an answer to my earlier post (below) ?
