Equal in the context here does not mean the same as but with equal right to. If statistics show that women have fewer accidents than men then that would suggest they are driving more safely. Surely it is no coincidence that insurance rates are cheaper for most women? In the UK the highest car accident fatality rate is amongst men aged 18 to 25. They also have the highest insurance rates.

That's why a prenuptual agreement is being used nowadays to avoid that situation but MEN aren't getting the women to sign up that easy. Women , to the most extent , have not started wars although many believe they are the responsible ones behind the wars to which I don't agree.
No prenup, no marriage. If one woman won't sign and agree to one, another will. If a guy is stupid enough to go through it w/o one, then gets divorced and burned, then he deserves to pay alimony and lose the house. s0meguy: Yes. Men tend to be more interested in car racing than women. It is not sexist to point out differences, where they actually exist and there is good evidence to back them up. Sexism involves invalidly assuming that differences mean that one sex is better than the other. Compare racism, for example. No. It's a simple statement of fact. I do not claim that because women are better drivers, on average, than men, that therefore women are better people than men.

James R, You are correct to say women are better drivers, studys show that women have less accidents and tickets when compared to men. Another difference is the amount of violent crime men commit when compared to women, in America 90% of all violent crime is commited by men. So my simple question is, if one wanted to try to avoid violent crime what group (men/women) should one associate with?
Willy: That's very difficult to say. Much violent crime occurs within families, for example. Domestic violence is a huge problem, but you can't force people not to marry who they choose. Some violent crime is quite random - if you're mugged in the street it won't be because you're associating with any particular people. It will more likely be because you're in a dangerous area, or simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. In short, beyond obvious advice such as "Don't associate with organised crime gangs" and the like, I can't really think of general advice about associations in order to avoid violent crime. Much better general advice would be "Don't knowingly place yourself at risk by seeking out violent situations or visiting dangerous areas."
