Sorry but you sound aged before your time. Fiction is always enjoyable (in the right context)...or do you expect everyone to enjoy varnishing a porch?

At any rate, JK Rowling has made enough money from the Potter empire to retire immediately. If she does continue writing, I anticipate she'll try something new.

Then again, I don't have superstring's inroads; who knows what she's planning

Exactly Enterprise-D. Also, anything that gets kids interested in reading is good for kids and the whole world.

I didn't even look at it that way...the Harry Potter books are indeed somewhat advanced for children, yet they're read by them. Good going! Once they know "expelliarmus" is not an english word

I'm pretty sure she didn't intend them to be read by children, altough they LOOK like children's books. Also, I'm not sure if she intended to write more then one book. Like Star Wars, her first book had quite a few passages of "wisdom", and after that, those passages seem to either vanish or fall into some obscurity.

I think she should keep doing what she is great at. She is one of the greatest authors of our time, and if you don't agree with me try to name another billionaire author. (Who are rich cause their writing.)

Where should I start? Now, it may not be within JK to improve on HP, but I can
think of lots of texts better than HP, so it is possible, so maybe she should
    keep trying?

No - she won't write any more Harry Potter. Strictly speaking, she was telling the truth.
Those who have read the last book should have the intelligence to figure out what's coming next. The epilogue sets up the new series.

You are confusing popularity with quality. Next thing, you;'ll be telling me Geoffrey Archer is a better novelist than Umberto Eco, because he's sold more books.
