Yes, you are so perceptive that when whites are clearly of that opinion, you can't even pick up on it. There are several on this thread alone and by the contents of thier post, it's very obvious. So you think whites aren't racist? You think some people don't have legitimate reasons to be upset at certain things? So when someone points out a problem, you automatically point fingers at the one who is voicing it?

yeah but you seem to get a bit offensive and aggressive towards western people. i dotn think your a total racist. but i think you are on the border line to turning into a racist.

you get emotional too fast when it comes to race, i could be totaly wrong ofcourse but thats how it comes across in your posts. and all i have to go by is what you post. you seem angry at white people and like your in a defensive position of asians. and i havent seen people attack asians, yet you seem to be defensive anyway.

most of my friends are either asian, black or middle eastern. i never hear any od my asian friends react the way you do to racial topics of preference. but you do remind me of my japanese friends father who is slightly racist towards western people. and he seems very simular to you mentaly. and maybe thats why i view you as a borderline him. he always uses the term "halfbreed" and "mutt" when talking about half white and half asian children, and he frowns upon it the same way i think you come across as.

A lot of that I do because I play the devil's advocate. I actually like diversity. I understand, believe it or not, the reasons why people would prefer a certain look from their point of view. It's when people are rude and state a certain look is the best one, that is inadvertently discounting and putting down the beauty of other people that don't fit that mold and it's wrong and dishonest. It's no different than someone of one religion to say all other religions are inferior. I don't understand why people are like that, it's a form of hatred and intolerance. When you pick that up about other people and you resist, it looks like you are the one being bigoted by showing them that they can be as seen as unattractive as well and give them a dose of their medicine, another perspective. Also, I know many biracial people myself and some respect both parents and others are embarassed of one because of current social prejudices. I know of one half-asian who tends to discount his asian side because of his white friends. If you had a child who was half of you and people claimed he was all the other parent's race, it is rude and offensive. I don't tolerate that kind of dishonesty, it's like appropriation, theivery and claiming what is not yours and not giving credit where credit is due.

ofcourse white people are racist, the way to combat racism is not to be racist in return to that race. say a white person is racist to you right, the worst thing to do in response is be racist back and say something about his/her race.

when somebody points out a problem it depends how that problem is voiced. because sometimes the person complaining about the problem can be as offensive and rude as the person who was the problem to begin with.

in london many mixed race girls (sometimes boys aswell) who are mixed white and black, or asian and black tend to pretend they are only black but just light skinned.

alot of the girls even go as far to lie about one of the parents origin, and if they are asked what race they are, they will say "im black". and totaly dissrespect the white or asian parent.

i knew this girl who said her dad was this jamaican dude with a huge afro for years at school. then when parent teacher conference came around her dad walked in, and he was some tiny indian guy with a bald head. and she was totaly ashamed of him and tried to not be seen with him. i never spoke to her again because i thought that was 100% rude to her dad, she lost my respect from that day.


people are way too serious about race all over the world. and i think people need to lighten up when it comes down to race and our "differences". we are all beautiful in my opinion. what is not beautiful though is hate and racial discrimination.

i think i was wrong to single you out, but in my opinion you were the most aggressive and angry poster, and you caught my attention much more than anyone else simply because of your emotional posts.

I already knew it was going to happen, just a matter of time before some whites or african-americans couldn't hold back any longer and claim whites and their hybrids are the best-looking period. We are so used to it, that it's expected we give them this hypocritical leeway but I'm not one of them. I had to point out that it's thier opinion, not fact as they were insinuating. You saw that with "how could you not", "we have proved", "different versions of whites", "perfect", insinuate finality, objectivism when there is none. It's blatant self-centeredness pushed onto others. If I were to post a pic of an asian woman and say she is perfect because she has all the features which I consider superior which may not even be caucasian and insinuate that others aren't as beautiful, it would be very egotistical, self-righteous, rude, and subjective of me.

its all opinion, i agree with what your saying but i still think you should not get so emotional. if will just make your point seem wrong even if your 100% right. keep your cool man, dont get dragged into a race battle.

its all down to personal preference, i might look at somebody and think she is stunning and you might see an average looking person. it depends what your taste is. but i think we can all agree that there are beautiful people from every race.

but yeah anyway, if you start getting angry and say things about another race it makes you look like a racist aswell. i know there are lots of white racist people on this board. and to be honest i dont usualy read thier posts i tend to skim past them or read a sentence and trail off.

I was comparing a salad to a stew. A salad has it's own appeal--cool, crisp, sometimes you just like a salad, not a stew even if it has all the ingredients in the world and cooked down into a mishmash. It has a totally different appeal.

No, the funny thing is that I agree with you - I dislike the trend of having "interracial" people being held up as a pinnacle of beauty. I don't dislike interracial people or think that they are ugly, but I don't like the rampant consumerism that it represents, I dislike the growing homogenity, and I especially dislike the cultural appropriation inherent in the practice.
