Which race/ethnic group do you find most attractive?

I think its because tanned women look healthier, more athletic, more like the girl next door. Pale is popular in fashion, like heroin chic, goth, and now the elfin look.

My husband likes pale. He says its more feminine.

I am with you CHI not even close to Halle, and that Cruella looks sickly.

 

Halley Berry is pretty but I don't see the big deal about her looks. There is another biracial woman who looks sultrier but less well-known, Salli Richardson but looks similar. I think she is prettier.

Also, you have to realize that picture of the woman was probably considered very attractive in her time. Standards change. I suspect it will change again in the future as well. I personally think the world would be much more attractive if everyone looked like anime characters like in final fantasy but humans don't really look like that without some artificial enhancements. Maybe people will be born with pink and lavender hair in the future, who knows.

It's Fouquet's Madonna. The model was a French 14th Century king's mistress, and the look (high forehead, pale skin, plucked eyebrows) dominated fashion for about a century.
My point was more that these things aren't universal.

But my preference for pale seems to be in the minority.

That's kinda the point. A lot of Goth, even Cyber, still takes its influence from Victorian fashion, and for a period the tuberculosis victim (no shit) was considered an epitome of feminine beauty -- pale, delicate, doomed.

Sickness in this fashion is a sort of revolt against the prevailing norm in popular culture, that is being healthy.

Of course, if this sort of fashion developed in the 19th century, the epitome of Goth would be a tanned beach bunny.

i'm white, and i find east asian women to be the most attractive on average. however, the most bueatiful women i have seen are white.

 

You still don't realize you prefer your own race above others, you just think you don't.

 

There are beautiful men and women in every race......Esp if you're
pulling out models and celebrities. In general I prefer white men.
