    Lowered expectations.

Attraction is not only base on the evaluation of the other, but of one's own opinion of one's self.

So your theory is that people with lowered expectations produce more beautiful children?

No my theory is that mixed offspring are more attractive than they would be if the same parents produced same-race offspring.

So a trailer-trash black guy and a white chick who deals meth produce more beautiful children than average?

    emptyforceofchi:
Not for everyone. We seem to tan at different rates. I tan easy, but my friend Mike retains his goth pale even without ever applying a sunscreen. I'm basically the only tanned person in the club these days.

On that note, and on paleness = beauty:

I don't think a white person with a tan count's as a certain skin tone, but you made your point.

    Oh yeah.
    Then what does it equate?

    According to whom?

Not anymore. But still there is a barrier to reproducing with someone outside your cultural group.

    Yes.

    According to whom, you?
    Ask the guys.

Lesbian undertones or the projections of a female seeking sexual validation by promoting females she believes she resembles or has the most hope of resembling...one day.

    I don't know, I'm only guessing.

    You have changed your hair.
    It's cute.

Hispanic men of mostly European descent... and a touch of Native American.

Anybody with olive skin, dark hair and dark, DARK brown (almost black) eyes. Wow.

Had me a half Italian half Puerto Rican man who I dated for a while... then there was the Venezuelan model who, being totally stuck on himself made me hate him so much... and yet love him so physically. That was was the best one week stand I ever had in my short, 32 years.

, not my type of club, although i lost the clubbing passion when i stopped taking drugs and drinking booze.

i wonder how many people would go raving and clubbing without being intoxicated with drugs and alcohole.

    peace.

    It's a form of role-playing.
an escape from reality by creating an artificial environment, dominated by the need to distract one's self from one's self: drugs, loud music, constant stimulation to prevent awareness, flashing lights in the darkness, alcohol and so on.

The self loses itself and in that moment of loss it feels relief.
    Sensual escapism, akin to religion.

Desire, or boredom, or compromise, or drunkenness.

Sure, but a middle class white chick and a middle class black guy are in the same cultural group. So are a lower class black girl and a lower class white man.

Look at the first page - two said she's not attractive, one said she was.
She's not hideous, she can't be. But she's nothing special, once you've taken away the Hollywood factor.

Oh, how cute. You're trying to insult me.
I'm looking at corsets online, it's a natural leap.
Besides, this is closer to my subcultural ideal:

i went to a club totaly sober a few months ago and left after about half an hour, without being drunk and drugged up i just cant appreciate it like i used to when i was a teenager.

imagine a club with bright lights no booze and drugs, but keep the music and people. nobody would stay long. you would realise thay 80% of the people cant actualy dance. and a further 85% are not as good looking as you would assume.

    peace.

I go out sober a lot. Perhaps it's because I actually enjoy EBM. Sometimes I just hang with my friends and talk.

God forbid you ever went out sober: you'd have to to use your charm and wits to win women.

    So true... so true.

Years after giving up my much loved E, I paid a visit to a place I used to haunt... and found it repulsive, dirty and quite nerve-wrecking. At 32 my ideal location for hanging with friends is our local Irish pub... where we sit, relax, scream about whatever game is on and fart while telling dirty jokes. No time could be better.

    Desire?
    isn't that sexual?

Do animals have sex out of boredom or drunkenness or compromise?

Culture includes religion and language and nationality and so on and heritage.

    Hollywood?
    She's all tits and ass.

Having gone to clubs just to observe human mating rituals, I would agree.

People confuse mainstream taste and individual taste. I personally prefer light skin but not deathly pale, more a pearly cream because of the tone not just the shade. I prefer it on men and women. I prefer naturally dark hair to metallic shades of especially blues and purples (colored of course) and grey to brown eyes. I don't like buxom or overly built people or extremely thin like anorexics but I prefer them on the skinny side. My tastes are not mainstream but if everyone looked the same the world would be boring, I like variety of looks though I have my own guidelines to what I consider the most attractive. So your theory that everyone wants to tan is ridiculous. If the sun tans me so be it, if not I could care less. Your ideals of beauty are just current standards and your ideals. As well, the tanning bit has a lot to do with exposure to contrast and the medium people seek between that is a social construct. Beige skin looks good in certain context and not in others depending on your taste which may be more sensual or down to earth versus another type of appeal because to me it doesn't look sophisticated, I like a look of clarity or winterish contrast.

That's why I put it first.

A certain bipedal hominid called Homo Sapiens Sapiens that does.
I'm sure you're an expert on compromising, neh?

Which are all the same in the U.S. We're talking about interracial children, not intercultural.

She is a Hollywood film star, correct?
I mean, I don't do a lot of pop culture, but I'm pretty sure she is.

Aww, you folded quick. I was expecting more mordent observations about my personal life and mental landscape, based solely on what I look at online.

I understand that but what I don't understand is the type of thinking where people think EVERYONE should like look a certain type and that is the only standard of beauty. Picture differing landscapes where those who are in their native land glowing in all thier particular beauty. They are beautiful. Now picture a paleface on the beaches of brazil versus thier natives, it doesn't fit as well now does it?? Does it mean one is more attractive than the other really?? No, it just seems that way. Now take the brazilian or south american out of the picture and put them next to a pale eskimo in thier native habitat. I don't care what anyone says but the eskimo is more beautiful in their native habitat and the other is not because it fits, the other can look ridiculous. I've seen a national geographic picture of a young inuit girl and not only was the landscape and scenery breathtaking but with her in it. Beauty is more than base sexuality and I think it's pathetic people are so narrowminded to not understand the all ecompassing aspects of it's meaning.
