Uh...Palpatine wasn't on the Death Star, nor would he normally have been on the second, it was part of a trap to lure in the Rebels. And furthermore, people from Star Trek are not from the Star Wars galaxy and thus are not actually part of the force. The most he would sense is a void in the force. And even if they do attack, the Defiant can de-cloak and bring up its shields. It can take a hell of a beating even without the shields, and that's from weapons several orders stronger than HTLs. And while its passing over the hull, its going to be ripping away a good amount of the DS's hull as it fires its torps down the shaft, causing it to explode anyways.

They have them, but the types (Plasma R, S, G, F) were taken from Star Trek: Starship Command Orion Pirates.

Also, what we saw where not plasma torps. They had explosions rather than implosions.

Yes, but most Trek fans to do not know of the tabletops, hence why I haven't pulled them into play.

And either way, Games are NOT cannon for ST. If they were, you'd be even more fubar than you are now.

you are wrong only the exhaust port was protected by a ray shield, the DS its self was protected by a deflector shield

A deflector shield more than wide enough to let ships thru.

And if it didn't, simply guide a micro-quantum torpedo in. It's not hard as you can "wire guide" them much like today torpedos, just without the Wire.

No its not. Otherwise the fighters would have gone splat when they hit it, all they did feel was a small bump.

    Uhm... no.

If this was true, why didn't Vader do it to the Proton Torps? Why weren't they shot down?

And I doubt Turbolasers can shoot down a weapon moving that fast that is that small when they can barely hit the Falcon anyway.

    1) Really? Vader can do that? That would have come in handy when Luke made his shot. Thus, there would have been no reason for Vader to go out and personally stop the fighters himself.

    2) Again, this is assuming that Vader can find them. He apparently couldn't find the Falcon when it was hiding on the back of a nearby ship. And furthermore, the Defiant can easily take HTLs to the hull, its taken photon torps and taken very little damage to its systems. The most your going to do is scorch the hull before the shields come online. And that's assuming that they hit in time. You see, the HTLs are fired by humans, and the Defiant would detect the HTLs powering up and taking aim at them. Plenty of time for the Defiant to make evasive manuvers and de-cloak and put up the shields.

Uh, why would I need to? Its very clear that in the movie solid objects could pass through the shields. Or did you miss the part where the fighters did it?

And? Even if this is so, the Defiant can fly around to the exhaust pipe and fire the torps down the pipe, as their smaller than the fighters are. Again, no big whoop.

He went out in the first place because the fighters could fire down the pipe and destroy the Death Star. If he can do what you claim then why didn't he just sit around and wait to do that to Luke?
