not exactly. halal is a type of ritual killing of food in islam, muslims only eat halal meat. and it excludes pork wich cannot be made holy even by the halal method. you basicaly have to have a very sharp knife pin the animal down and cut its head off with its eyes open, so it goes straight to allah,
