Bird in flight proof of telepathic communication?

I was studying large flocks of birds through out our summer. By flocks I mean groupings of birds with a population of more than several hundred. Large flocks that spread out over a large amount of airspace flying as they do together in what appears to be random spirals, and irregular flight paths.

    case in question:
The total distance from the edges of the flock across it's center would have been approxinmately 100 meters.
all birds appeared to be changing direction simultaneously. I wondered how they could do this so incredibly in synch. [ chance....fluke except this is repeated all through out their flight many times]

One suggestion offered by many a sceptic is that their smoothness of change in direction is purely reflexive based on ordinary sensory data.

My rebuttal: this can not be so as the birds on the edge have their view completely blocked by birds between them and the other edge.
One would expect to see a very fast butterfly effect as one bird led and the others very quickly followed however no such effect is witnessed and no lead bird can be discerned. They do appear for all intents and purposes to be flying as a single unit with over 600 individual aspects and perspectives moving as one entiy [ a little flexibility but essentially one entity ]

So how can all birds alter their flight path exactly at the same time with out some sort of communication allowing them to do so and by virtue of their incredible movement in unison that communication must be instantaneous.

I know reflexes can be very fast but spread over such a distance and with so many birds involved this is extremely unlikely as a solution. Simlar can be found with large groupings of fish such as sardine and white bait... [ even in murky water ]

The solution can only be telepathic or empathic communication....what say you?

ps I intend to video the birds in question and then discect the video down to frames [1/25 of a minute I think] and show that the change in flight path is instantaneous or at least so close that it may as well be.

The BBC did a documentary on this years ago. They do not turn simultaneously. What happens is the the bird on the inside of the radius turns first and they all follow sequentially - a Mexican Wave, if you will. Slowed down film of schools of fish also showed the same behaviour.
"If my turns left so do I. If he turns right then so do I" kind of thing.

its different with fish if im not mistaken, fish in schools use something called a lateral line sensory organ to detect movement in the water,

they have an almost instant reaction rime to movement, its how they can escape predators also,

    peace.

The birds are connected by an energy field. When one bird senses the strength of the energy field increasing or decreasing, the bird changes position accordingly.

All creatures have and can sense energy. You are connected to all the people around you. The problem with humans is that they have a brain. If some bad guy comes along and convinces the brain of a human that there is no such things as energy, and the sensations they feel are just gas, then that person's brain will ignore what it's body is telling it.

Actually I have been looking for this in my later obs and have found that there are varying movements. Sometimes they are non-simultaneous and sometimes they certainly appear simultaneous.
Of course the birds do not have to conform to any particular flying method and I woudl guess that if they felt like it they could very easilly turn in flight in a way that is simultaneous if they choosed to do so.
So I am not convinced that it is not simultaneous and will simply have to do the video needed to prove either way.
Also this does not necessarilly prove psychic pheno but merely that there may be a method that may allow simultaneousness as denis has just said above [re:energy fields]

Yup, but it's the same principal - the lateral sense organ detects the fish's neighbour's movement rather than it being seen. Only difference.

Any evidence? Of course not. But this is a good indicator that not all humans have brains.

Is that something like ampullae(or however you spell it)?

i dont think so, you can actualy see the lateral line on a fish running down its body, it detects electrical impulse in the water.

    peace.

Can you think for yourself? I thought not. This is the usual case with many people. They need permission on what they should think. They need to be instructed by someone on what to think.

They are lazy. Thinking is hard. Going through all the evidence, considering what could be going on, proposing conclusions and throwing them out......that is all very hard work.

Something you seem to want to avoid.

And don't forget calibrating all this data with one's own personal reactions and gut feelings that also necessitate sifting through, then trying to align and balance everything, just so, while assimilating newer fluctuations in data, both external and internal. Whew. I need a smoke.

Hoo-boy! Here comes the woo-woo theories. And I'm sure you have solid evidence of this, right?

And what's so implausible about an energy field; what's so woo-woo about it?

"All creatures have and can sense energy"? If you can accept that, I've got some swamp land in Arizona that you'd really like to buy.

Consider just one thing if nothing else - if that silly statement were correct no preadator would ever have a chance of eating.

    try looking into genetic memory

I have and found absolutely no evidence it even exists. Do you have any???

could it be a kind of sound? which couldn't be heard by human ears.

    Look up the word "instinct"

Instinct is entirely different from what is called "genetic memory." Care to try again?

Oh dear, someone else who doesn't bother to read the rules...
You made the statements, YOU have to provide evidence. It is not up to me to look for anything regarding your spurious "energy field".

And you would know this how? All you've done is postulate an "energy field" and declared that's the answer.

    Something you have avoided.

How is it transmitted? How is it receieved? What frequencies is it on? What type of energy is it? Why have we never seen any organs capable of detecting this "energy" when we dissect birds? Etc Etc.
