little toy dogs seem like a waste of dog to me.......and ppl who carry them around in a purse are a waste of a human to me........
I personally think pitbulls are the best. They are the most beautiful dogs, and the most loyal companions.
Dobes and Boxers are mine (obviously), but I love pits too. I can't stand the fact that they get such bad reputations, simply due to stupid and irresponsible owners.

Nope. I've seen stupid, irresponsible, retarded owners own pretty much the full spectrum of dogs. It's just that when they find they have to fukin clue how to handle a dog, the big dogs are the ones that get labeled dangerous; whereas the little fu-fus just get labeled yappy.
My vote? Shepherd/Collie crosses. Shepherd/Blue Heeler and Shepherd/Elkhound close seconds. Standard Poodles and Airedales ain't bad dogs, neither. For a guard dog: Akitas, from a good line, cold climate. Probably Rottweilers warm climate? The show dog folks have been ruining the various breeds in sequence, starting with the prettiest and most distinctive. The Irish Setter used to be a great hunting dog and fine companion. There is no pit in hell deep enough.
