Why Ask?

    When you are a citizen in a country where asking questions is dangerous perhaps it is wise not to. Or am I getting causes wrong, certainly I am. In a country where the highest wisdom is not to ask questions you get a regime that heartily and cruelly reinforces the 'truth' of this axiom.

    remember: hidden in every admonishment to 'let go' is a subtle or not so subtle command not to let what is inside you go, but to control it, repress it. Accept what is outside you, but O, the passions and desires in side you, those must not be accepted, and so a totalitarian regime forms first inside and then later outside.
