The fiance and I were coming back home on monday and we saw a dead dog in the center garden of a street near home, it was all swollen and disgusting. I thought some public cleaning service people would have picked it up by now, but when we passed by today it was still there. It had dehydrated a lot though, and it was mostly eaten. Then when we moved it, a multitude of maggots started to crawl out of it, it was pretty sickening/gross/awesome. I picked up a branch and used it to separate the skull from the spine, but the skin was still very tough, like leather. So we went into the walmart nearby and picked up plastic bags and an utility knife. The fiance cut the skin off for me and I put it in the bag. It's in my balcony. Tomorrow I'll take it to my parent's house to bury and finish the decomposition... shouldn't take long. I'd take pictures, but i don't feel like dealing with a rotten maggot full dog head at the moment, I have to make cookies for mother's day. I'll get pics tomorrow when I bury it. Cliffs: -found a dead dog -the fiance and I cut its head off and put it in a bag -I'll bury it tomorrow for decomposing and I'll take pics
..."disgusting?...whats wrong with you?",...I thought. But than this life is short...I guess going chestnuts is reasonable in some way. Is there a purpose in the necromancy decapitation?
I wish they had dead dogs lying around here, but everything is too efficient and clean. what kind of dog was it? It could be interesting to get a collection of all the breeds like a typical craniologist had a collection of skulls of all the 'races' in the 19th century.
Sounds like your fiance has a strong stomach. I remember having to locate and get rid of a dead kitten once; the smell was overpowering! Do you add lime to hasten the decomposition?
So you're only taking the skull? Why not the whole thing? Where do you put all of your skeletons? I hope not in your closet. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
James...just smile and back away slowly. Varda's always looking for skulls, and my impression is that she's not too particular. If I were the fiancée, I have to say I wouldn't be pushing the prenup too hard, if you follow me.
One room at work has a bench full of skulls belonging to different species. They scan the jaws to transfer them into a 3D picture. It's nice to look at them.
