    Yes I am back. Sort of.

    Had a baby in scary circumstances nearly 3 weeks ago. Slowly recovering and baby boy is doing fine. Keeping us awake at all hours, which is what babies do best I guess. I still can't believe it has already been 3 weeks (or will be this coming Wednesday). Had a severe fright during the birth and needed the last few weeks to recover physically and emotionally.. a recovery that is still ongoing I guess and will be for a long time. But we were lucky and we both made it, even if barely... I am sure some of you are saddened by that fact lol.. But you can't get rid of me that easily..

    Correction. I tended to gleefully remind myself of the hellish job I used to have and it is a constant reminder of how wonderful retirement has been.

    Not funny: that's a traumatic experience and a horrifying one - my second wife had complications similar to that once and it was terrifying. I'm just glad you and the kid are all right. How did the youngest take it? Send me a PM if you can overcome your societal revulsion.

    congratulations on the birth of your new child.

    i am glad everything worked oput ok with the child birth even though i did not know untill now that you wre pregnant.

    My thoughts are with you, i have 2 children and my last one who is a girl was born 11 weeks pre-mature as my wife had severe pre-ecampsia, so i know how scary things can be at this time.
