A British dentist may have his licence revoked for unsanitary practices like cleaning his ears and nails with his "sterilised" medical insruments and peeing in the little sink where his patients rinse out their mouths.:runaway: http://www.politicalgateway.com/news/read/72131 Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! I'm very suspicious of my dentist too. He wears surgical gloves, and often dashes off to another patient in another room, and comes back five minutes later wearing the same gloves!!! Those gloves were in someone elses mouth, in contact with god knows what!
Hmmm. Why can't we be our own dentists and doctors, to save money? post title: Hmmm. Why can't we be our own dentists and doctors, to save money? How do you know they are the same gloves? Don't all the gloves in the box, all look alike? I think the whole medical (and insurance) industry stinks, at least in the U.S. where it is seriously overpriced, as the line in Star Trek 4; The Voyage Home says, "Don't leave him in the hands of 20th century medicine. They still cut and sew people like garments." I was wondering some time ago, how often my barber sterilizes his combs? And how long will we have to wait, until public restrooms get toilets that clean themselves? Yuck! What? Am I the 20th visitor to that toilet since the last time it was so-so cleaned by some underpaid janitor on a schedule to clean how many buildings before lunch?
