I like "Medieval: Total War 2" even more, though, although certain thing (Inquisitors etc) drive me mad when they single handedly wipe out my entire Royal family!!

Maybe I should patch the game.

Anyhoo - the battles are more frenetic than in Rome, with more unit types etc, but they do get a tad confusing due to vast variety of colours.
Rome kept everything relatively simple - all the army wore one colour and one flag.

Forgot about those inquisitors in mtw1 yeah they sucked. I wasted loads of money on dozens of assasins at the mere whiff of an inquisitor on my borders.

In MTW1 and 2, am i the only 1 that gets there elites slaughter vs peasants when assulting walls

in mtw2 i play on medium so the AI shouldn't be cheating to much

Well, I could hook you up with a LAN center account, but you would have to promise to rarely play it.

 

I'm hoping to find out this weekend, providing vista doesn't have issues with it. What an O/S; anyone want to take a guess how long it took before it had issues with restarting?

Well I don't know yet I want to do a clean install of my computer first, but I'm too tired.

I missed it. I finished yesterday with all missions. This game is quite worth its money. I put in lots of hours.
