I like Vegas Video. I used it for a badass CS movie I made once.

For CS 1.6, you can easily get a CD key for $5. Just look for old copies of Half Life at CompUSA or something... do not buy it used.

Well, if you are not willing to pay $5 for something, then it's quite possible you don't want it that bad. I mean come on... cut the grass or something for $20. It's not that hard.
