Hey Bells, how can you tell a gay three year old from a straight three year old? Do the gay three year old boys choose pink rattles, and the gay three year old girls choose blue ones, how do you tell the difference?

When we tell our children about the birds and the bees, should we really tell them that they might be gay, so to be open to all options?

It could be taught in the schools as the Orifice Option, pretty cool, eh Bells?

    Wow. Strange ideas.
You do know that the population is increasing wildly worldwide. Do we need this to go faster?
They 'create' more demoralized individuals....? But you just said they don't increasing the population.
Oh, you are one of those people who thinks they convert people.
Why, do you feel the urge to convert?
Then you go on with this strange idea that their DNA is bad, but still they should be contributing by reproducing. Very strange.

Aids is not in the Gene pool.
And aids did not enter humans via gays, though they sure suffered it in the west more than other groups.

There used to be people who thought the races shouldn't have sex with each other. Oh, yeah, thére are still people like that. But anyway most people got over that old prejudice.

Homosexual behavior is found in many many species and throughout our own history. Sometimes it was an accepted part of 'Western' cultures. Look at Greece. In other cultures it was acceptable all the way through.

Ah yes, in-your-face homosexuality has always been a pillar upon which great cultures have been built, after all, it makes so much sense, encourage the young men to bed other young men, the same for women, tell them it's just fine, and then hope they don't start bedding the opposite sex, 'cause that would mean gayness is just a behavior and not a genetic variation.

    Your idiocy knows no bounds.

Were you taught to be hetrosexual Ice? After all, if someone chooses to be homosexual, then that would mean we choose to be straight. So did you choose to be straight? Did you wake up one day and say 'hmmmmm.. I think I'll be straight'? Or did you just know you were straight because it felt natural for you? And why do you think this only applies to straight people and not also to gay people? Why is it so hard for you to get into your stupidly thick skull that gay people feel that it is natural and normal for them to be attracted to those of the same sex?

And yes, when you educate your child about sex, you need to make them aware about what sex is. Sex is not just the woman lying down in the missionary position. Sex also includes oral and anal sex. It is the stupid American Christian ethic that appears to fail to teach their children about sex. And if you are a good parent, you should tell your child that some people feel attracted to those who are the same sex as them and that it is perfectly normal to feel that way.

Oh this just gets better and better.

What in the hell are you on about? Do you know why homosexuals might feel "demoralised"? Could it be that being told they "threaten civilisation" and other such crap that it just might have something to do with it?

Homosexuality is not a new "concept". There have always been homosexuals, so for a population that is supposedly at risk, we sure have come a long way. We can barely feed the world's population because there are so many of us. China has had to implement a one child policy due to the risk of a population boom, and you think we are somehow at risk? Do you think before you type?

And draqon, I would suggest you stop making such ignorant and down right stupid comments about AIDS being in the gene pool. You have proof of this of course? Nor did they somehow "generate it". Your stupidity has been proven yet again with that comment.

And what action do you propose we take? I have a better idea. I say action be taken against ignorant turds who come out with hateful and stupidly wrong statements. I say we spade them and prevent them from infecting the gene pool with their stupidity.

    I disagree.

You were down right rude and insulting.

So the thread asks what "Homosexual Characteristics" are. I suspect they are whatever heterosexuals say they are.

    dragon:

    A list of your errors:

    1. There is no threat of humanity dying out from lack of population. The human population of the planet continues to increase all the time.
    2. Gay people are not "demoralised".
    3. Evolution doesn't need "favoring". Evolution happens regardless of anything we do about it.
    4. If homosexuality has a genetic component, it isn't "bad DNA" - just different DNA.
    5. AIDS is not a genetic disorder and is not passed to offspring.

    IAC:

This is sometimes the case (choosing pink rattles etc.), but not always. In general, a person's sexuality manifests itself most openly after puberty. Didn't you know that?

    It can't hurt.

    Your bigotted homophobia is unwelcome.

    *Shakes head*

    IAC, you're a lost cause.

Read back through this thread and others when the discussion has been about homosexuality. Your hatred shines through your words. Your saying you don't dislike homosexuals after all that you have said is hypocritical in the extreme.

Yes, yes... let's worry about the INCREASE of the population of an already over populated world.

Since you bring up "evolution"-- you obviously must know that the only way to "evolve" is for the superior to "subplant" the inferior (usually by exterminating) members of their species. Evolution just doesn't happen by procreation-- it happens because the vicors breed most and the losers are prevented from breeding. How, pray tell, would you carry out your insidious brand of eugenics?

Oh, and as a gay man, I would love for you to support the "demoralized" claim.

I think that would have more to do with personal preference(or possibly gender) than sexual orientation.

M*W: One thing I've noticed among homosexual men is their eyes. I cannot explain why their eyes become deep-set. There was a study done, but I don't recall the conclusions. If you notice, homosexual mens' eyes, you will see what I'm talking about. If anyone knows the answer to this, please remind me. I also don't know if this characteristic is HIV-related or not.

Draqon would have you know that unless you donate DNA, you do not "contribute".

This despite some of the greatest influences on human progress, not having any children.

For all we know gayness may in fact be "naturally" selected as we argue this. Cloneing may replace procreation in the future, or we might start living forever, or whatever future tech comes along and boom having kids is a serious burden and disadvantage(it is right now in developed countries) economically. It does seems that gays can thrive in large urban places where families have to move away. Not saying it's a positive thing, just a reality.

Can I "report" this particular posting, not on the basis of it being offensive, but that it is so totally ridiculous that it just never should have been said?
