maybe you should give your own backporch a good dusting before you start on someone elses. doing what you propose is not going to be easy. the US fought a bloody civil war for a better life for the impoverished. and why is that? because there was no one to help us. we did it ourselves.
We don't need a civil war. And we're doing marvelously well considering the utter rape of the country for 200 years. Ask any economist.
I've been seeing posts on this forum that state that the civil war was fought for less noble reasons. But I never read up on it myself so I reserve judgement on this particular topic. I can't say the same about the US bashing. There are many good americans. But american foreign policy is clearly not 'good'. Unless you belong to a small minority.
good luck with that. people are not going to willingly give up power. most of them will have to be killed.
it was fought because the south, mainly an agricultural region, depended heavily on cheap farm labor. you figure it out.
So the only way for a country to solve its problems is with a civil war? If you believe that, then why bother trying to stop the current civil war in Iraq?
I would like that. I liked this book on Israel. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0743270355/ref=nosim/dannyyeesbook-20
I doubt all the people in Israel agree with their government. Just like people all over the rest of the world. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! There are many Israelis I admire too.
