India is a storehouse of "Human Rights Violations" ....they've got so many violations that the UN can't even list them all. And oddly, India ain't doin' a fuckin' thing about them.

I've also been reading up on police brutality in India ....it's so fuckin' horrendous that it amazes me that Sam can even mention police brutality in other nations of the world (like she constantly does against the USA).

Political corruption is so bad that India is used as an example for what NOT to do!!

The government is totally useless of course

The lack of political will for change is the major reason why this system is still prevalent 60 years after Independence.

Even measures taken by the government in the private,

Its possible to care about abuse at any level, in any country. Caring for the people of your own country does not exempt/absolve you from caring for people in similar oppressive situations elsewhere.
