Easy there Invert, you know thats not the way forward for Cybernetics, implanting Pen drives into people because they don't work properly.

They do if you have installed a USB port with the proper drivers.

Who knows what the future may bring. Ever watch Saturn 3? Neck ports might become the rage. Then we'd all be stabbing each other in the necks with flash pens.

Ok. Ok. A more commonly known example of a neck port. The Matrix. There. Happy?

(I must admit that my inspiration for the neck stabbing thing was Nicky from Casino though. Combine this with the microwave pen from The Lost Room...)

Gruesome. But not as gruesome as his comeuppance. The vice scene sticks in the memory too.

Unless you don't have a TV like me.

I do have two pen drives. Both a measly 256mb. One I bought a long time ago. The other (kingston) was a gift recently with something else I bought. Because apparently 256mb pen drives are so cheap you could eat them.

I was thinking about either getting a biggie pen drive or a external harddrive to move the big work files between work and home. But then again, I don't want to spend my own money on work. Especially since so much money is wasted on crap at work.

Just buy a big notepad and write it all down. Then each night jot down any important changes on Sticky Notes.

Where can I buy sticky notes on which I can write TIF files?

4GB stick are relatively inexpensive. However if you are going to move your entire porn collection back home from work, i would recommend a 2.5" USB Harddisk as they do not require an external PSU.

Any sticky note will do. But in the case of images you will of course have to draw rather than transcribe them.

Talking about pen drives in the neck, any of you watch Ghost in the shell?
There the back of the neck acts like a port.

Should I reformat my hard drive first?

    that'll work.

    or

buying another computer has a high potential of solving the problem

reinstall and "buy new pc" seems rather radical for a simple usb stick

radical...but a sure way. no need to burn neurons on a problem...let simple solutions take care of it.

Then I know a simpler solution:

throw PC and pen drive in the trash.

It is not a solution to this problem...but a solution to another problem which is freeing up space in a room.

No, freeing up space in a room is a solution, not a problem. The problem is actually: "Why have I got so many useless possessions?"
