you should seriously ask yoruself whether the goal of spiritual life is to acquire knowledge or simply to stick one's signature on everything like a mad artist that has to re-create everything to appease their false ego

To become pure from knowledge/ego, you must empty yourself and become stupid/simple.
There's no real goal, only the travelling, and there's nothing to reach because there's no traveller.

.....Would you go for 'To become pure from knowledge/ego, you must empty yourself and become innocent.'

to realize one's nature/existence as something quite distinct from the body and its associated counter parts (gender, age, family, wealth, position, learning, class, colour country of birth, species etc)

But it is because you have the attitude that we are all equal that you are special.

Not everyone has the attitude that we are all equal, some think that some are better than others, so in this question of attitude we are clearly not (all equal).

develop pride With pride we cannot progress. Buddha said it's better to be an evil person than one with pride since evil people can develop regret and change (like Anguilimala) but a person with pride can never learn and hence never progress. Many other religions and philosophies say similar things about pride being the most damaging to our progress.

    You're confusing pride with arrogance.
