The recent USA military power show in the Persian Guld Stream is targeted at Iran to envoke fear and suppress the utilization of nuclear power within the region. Is USA correct in the way they treat Iranian government? Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Source: http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2006/12/19/world/main2280067.shtml
the US have been gradually sending their heavy-weight forces into the Persian Gulf in the past few months. the US wouldn't do this unless Iran has taken an aggressive posture, which they have. and i'm sure there are tons of things that we don't even know about... i think with Ahmedipussbag soon becoming an ex-president, the not-as-crazy Iranian nuts will realize that a military confrontation with the US is not in their best interests... so i don't think a confrontation is likely but again, this might be in preparation for a military strike on Iran's nuke facilities interesting times indeed...
Iran has not taken aggressive posture, US media portrays it that way for sure. The support of Hezbollah by Iran should not concern USA...its Israel there...not USA. Same goes with Iraq.
Iran just have, to look at Irak, i dont think they want that, But i think USA, and maybe Isreal to, as the intention to try to get rid of as much as possible nuclear sites, as they can.
Well, I think the UN takes the stance, don't they? Aren't they trying to get Iran to allow nuke inspections, etc? So the UN thinks Iran is being aggressive, too. Not that I think the UN is worth a shit!! Israel is a friend of the US. If someone was picking on one of your friends, would you desert them? Is that they way you treat your own friends? Baron Max
You don't think saying that the Jews and Israeli should be pushed out into the sea is aggressive?? Baron Max
Ahmadinejad Opponents Take Lead in Tehran Election. The hardliners might not be holding power for much longer, not unlike in the US.
The devil we know might well be better than the devil we don't know! It would sure be the shits if another Ayatolla Khomeni were elected, huh? Do we know anything at all about the other contenders? Baron Max
the entire world (except Russia and China) think Iran has taken an aggressive posture other than the US this includes the EU, and surrounding Arab countries (including Iraq) Iran wants regional and global clout, and they're being proactive and ambitious about it
I can't think of a better place to put our warships than right there or right outside the waters of North Korea. The best way to keep peace is by letting the enemy know that he will be dead thirty seconds after fighting starts up. Weapons don't have to be used to be useful.
If history is to be our guide, looking at the Iraq war then yes, war will happen with Iran especially now that they too wanna trade in euros. - N
America already has global clout. what America wants is stability... i.e. to prevent wars; while Ahmedikaka wants to start wars
Iran is building Nukes Iran is destabilizing Iraq Iran is operating and/or funding Hizballah, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, etc. the 1st is an aggressive act the 2nd and 3rd are acts of war the US is responding... or at least is preparing to respond (although Israel, unfortunately, isn't)
I don't know. Why don't you tell us? I'm pretty curious about it myself now that you've raised the issue. Baron Max
