Its not a one-off thing. I have seen many men who other women consider charming, but they look smarmy and superficial to me. I've also met men that other women think are smart and handsome that I find to be absolute bores. On the other hand, the guys I usually get along with are the quiet ones who have definite ideas about who they are and what they want but let me do my own thing. Not necessarily charming or even conventionally handsome, but definitely interesting and accomodating. I'd say the "good with women" would depend on the woman.

Seriously mate, get your priorities sorted. Girlfriends are over-rated, they mess you up in the head, use up all your money, cause friction between you and your friends and just waste your time. I've had girls destroy my friends, they cause wounds that never heal, trust me. I say only get into a relationship if you're both gonna be serious. I'll prob have an arranged marriage in a few years so I'm not fussed, it's like a burden completely off my shoulders, I don't have to worry about those issues, I know I will have a girl that I can raise a family with in a few years, I don’t have to try impressing girls, even when girls approach me I think eff it, can’t be bothered. All that helps me concentrate on the things that matter, family, religion, studying, making money and killing people. You say you feel lonely, take up a hobby, join a club, there’s so much you can do but you have to get off your arse and do it. You could try getting a pet too. If you make a good friend you’ll hardly think about chasing girls, the fact that you’re not doing anything means it just keeps playing again in you’re head. Having good friends is bloody priceless, good friends give you laughs, support and love. Sex is just an animal pleasure, its temporary and it has its limits, like a fucking drug, real love goes beyond that. I don’t really want to read through what I just wrote but I hope you take something positive out of it.

It's easy to get a woman, there are women who are thinking the exact same thing as you, "why won't anyone ask me out?" kinda thoughts, if you really want a girlfriend and you don't care about quality, ask out the girl who thinks that, simply find someone as lonely as you and you'll have a girlfriend as soon as you ask. In fact, it's so easy you could do it over the internet.

Another thing that happens is, yes it's expensive to have a girlfriend. Once again, having a girlfriend is the easiest most natural thing in the world. Having a girlfriend that actually loves you, and that you can love, and can live with, thats extremely difficult. It's easy to find a woman, it's hard to find a good woman. You can meet a potential girlfriend wherever you are at. Online, offline, it doesnt matter where you find them. The problem is finding them, not the methods you use to do so. You should use whatever methods you have availible, if you want to use the internet, use the internet, but also talk to women offline. And in a response, most women ARE materialistic, or at least the majority that I've met. Dating is gambling, if you like gambling you'll love dating, the concepts are exactly the same. You are gambling your money and time. This is why I don't prefer dating, I don't really like to waste my time and money. In some cases it's straight prostitution, in that case, if you want to get laid, dating is the best method of doing so, you'll spend time and money, and you'll get sex in return. If you want somethnig real, dating most of the time does not work. You'll have better luck asking out a friend than dating random people. And if you have no female friends, thats the main reason why you are single. If you don't date, and you don't talk to females, well how exactly will you be with one? So the first step for someone completely inexperienced, is to simply find females wherever you can find them, and spend as much time with the ones you like as possible. Make up excuses for why you want to spend time with them at first, if you don't want to make it obvious that you like them. Find any excuse to be around them, clean their yard, cut their grass, do whatever the hell you can to be near their house, or walk them home from work, or study with them in school, or give them rides to places in your car. The goal is simple, the goal is to get as much of a time share from them as you possibly can. If you can get to the point where you spend time with them on a daily basis, you've accomplished that goal. The next goal is to maximize that time. I'm not going to tell you how to do that. After you maximize the time, then you'll be around them enough to know if you can be friends with them or not, if you can be friends, then you officially have a relationship with them. And from there you can either keep them as a friend for life, or put them as girlfriend, but the goal is to be friends first because the girlfriend role usually is a role which won't last. So be friends, and if you can do that, then you can try something else, and if you can't do that, then you can forget about anything else. The stupid thing to do, is to just make a completely random person your partner because you don't even know them.

You hit the nail right on the head. I feel sorry for white guys, its so much harder for them. I know Asian (Pakistani/Indian) guys that go down the white route (date and then marry) and a lot of those go wrong. All the guys I know that have gone down that path have been hurt, they end up broken men, nothing in life can break a man like a woman. Is it really worth it? With Asians, we reach our twenties and then we just tell our parents we want to get married, they take us back to Pakistan, you find a girl/family you like and then get married. Since you were born and raised in the West, families there throw themselves at you, they know you’ve got qualifications, money, a British passport etc. choosing a nice family is important too. After that you bring you’re wife home, and that’s it. Eastern marriages are like unifications of 2 different families, its not just the 2 individuals, everyone in the two families has to make an effort, if there are any problems in the marriage you’ll always have family there to support you. The whole process is that much easier. You have stability, fucking priceless.
The problem there is that the ability to be confident around women comes from the feeling of being accepted by women, which comes from being accepted by women. So in order to gain self-esteem, he'll have to start being around women a lot more.
