I have been trying to find an article with pictures, or even without on how to flip off your back without using your hands, you know what I"m talking about, its in every action film ever made. But anyway, I can't find one and it would be greatly appreciated if someone could write how to do this or post a link. :D

Try looking for some Shaolin Gung Fu stuff. They do that exercise.

I will teach you.

But it is a secret that I can reveal only to other ninjas.

Learn the way of the ninja.

Or just practice using a gym mat, as someone will no doubt suggest below.

Like any other gymnastic exercise, it takes practice.

Use a gym mat or something.

Do it on wood for extra endurance to pain.

I'm not sure there actually is a way to flip without using your hands. The way I and everybody I know have always done it is to lie on the ground and place your hands behind your head with palms down. It may feel uncomfortable at first, but you'll quickly grow immune to it. Anyway, just pull your legs back towards your chest and then kick at a 60 degree angle while pushing off your hands behind your head. By pushing with your hands and kicking with your feet, it's not too hard. Just practice a few times and you'll have it.

Practice flipping with your hands first and then using one hand and then no hands (it worked for me before I got a fat belly). It helps if you've got reasonably strong abdominal muscles.
I'm not sure what the correct term is, something like kick flip, or kip flip????
Just found it, KIP UPS! I knew it! Check out the link:

Kip sounds sort of right.
Kick flip is a skateboard trick.

Use a trampoline to practice.
