yep that's me. I never got into stargate but red dwarf was funny. Interesting that you prefer the light sci/fi shows as opposed to the more "intellectual" ones. :p

I find that insulting!! Stargate not intellectual, maybe to people who aren't fans of the complex background story and how the past, present and future all intertwine into a truely stunning show
Also, I watched all Star Treks while growing up. Who hasn't?
And many 'classic' sows such as Project UFO, Space 1999, etc

I also dabbled in Space Precient, that had it's moments lol

I would have gotten into Babylon 5, but when that was on, I didn't have cable so I missed the first half of the 'saga'. I'm slowly catching up with the help of SciFI

Thor: Didn't mean to insult you, just the show. Stargate episodes, for the most part, are self-contained. IME, the basic plots and plot twists are all introduced and played out in one episode. Its a show to be enjoyed by the masses. Nothing wrong with that but I like a more difficult and complex story line.

Educate me on Space Precient. Never heard of it.

Yeah, B5 is a great series. I watched it from beginning to end (end then into the failed spin-off Crusades). Probably the most well thoght out series of all time.

Oo, Set in 2040, kinda aimed at kids (hey, I was one when it was out) and I believe it was done by the same guy who did Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet and Stingray. But instead of puppets....they had actors DUN DUN DUN! But half the time you would've thought they were puppets

OK, I can't wait any longer. Just watched 4x10 and 4x11 and am ready. 3 hours 41 minutes 50 seconds and counting.

Remember, John was allowed to keep the wormhole knowledge bestowed on him by the ancients. He figured out how to navigate wormholes and attempted to get back to Moya but he ended up at another wormhole signature ... earth. We left John floating in earth's orbit in nothing but his spacesuit. How will he get down? Did he return at the moment he left Earth? Will anyone believe him that he spent the last 3+ years in another galaxy? Will he think it was all a dream?
