...they are but mere students, they walk into the laboratory and do their homework amongst the chattering of their peers, the quiet whispers of the air conditioning system and then the obscenely loud ringing of the phone that hardly ever goes attended at the front desk.
Once in a while the occassional destitute comes in and asks for their documents to be sent to the printer and, of course, they have submitted what appears to be the weekly assignments, piles of papers just waiting for a devoted set of eyes and a starving mind to fathom their insides...with good luck some of them may go recycled back into the blue bin that sits listlessly next to the front door in the hopes that noone will stumble upon it.
I am, of course, one to perform my duty so their requests have been granted and their once intangible brainchildren are now set in paper and, after the fact, are ready for the taking...their makers march away with much content out the door, often leaving a void where their soothing though unrequested company used to be...
