I need to know where exactly the ergosphere of a Kerr Black Hole is. I've found contradictory explanations
A Kerr BH has two event horizons and a static limit. Some people suggest that the ergosphere is between the two event horizons, and other people suggest that is between the outer event horizon an the static limit

I thought the ergosphere was bounded by the outer event horizon and static limit.

Yes, that is what I thought too. Do you know what differentiate the outer event horizon from the inner event horizon?

It has something to do with the charge... not exactly sure what

Maybe these links might help:

<A HREF="http://www.physics.ubc.ca/~psih/kerr-metric/node5.html" TARGET=new> Link 1. </A>

<A HREF="http://www.astro.su.se/groups/head/sara/node11.html" TARGET=new> Link 2</A>

If neither of these help, you could try this <A HREF="http://www2b.abc.net.au/science/k2/stn/" TARGET=new> Forum </A> which has a couple of relativists who pop in from time to time.
