Vinegar, also known as ethanoic acid or acetic acid, is an important ingredient for many foods.

It tastes pretty nasty by itself; however, when combined or cooked with food it tastes quite nice.

Some varieties:

  • Balsamic vinegar - Used on salads and pasta. Strong fragrance.
  • Zhenjiang vinegar - Black color. Very strong fragrance.
