Twix is a candy bar consisting of two smaller delights in one package. A crunchy biscuit kind of thing is covered with chocolate.

History of Twix

At one point in time Twix was called Raider in many countries; Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Norway. The name was changed to Twix in these countries in 1991 to get the name in line with the international name (read USA). The social welfare states of Scandinavia managed to withstand pressure from the USA the longest and only surrendered in 2000 after fighting US capitalism for another 9 years.
